Scottie Scheffler saw his third-round lead tighten as he shot a 1-under 71 to go to 9-under par heading into the final round.

Cameron Smith is just three shots behind after posting a 4-under 68. Sungjae Im shot 71 to get to 4-under, five strokes back of Scheffler.

Despite his lead shrinking, Scheffler is still the favorite to win the event. The world’s No. 1 golfer is at -225 heading into Sunday at DraftKings.

Smith is at +250 and Im is at +1600. We now look at Sunday’s final round and give you three best bets for the day.

Best 2022 Masters Round 4 picks

Cameron Smith outright (+280)

It took Scheffler midway through his back nine on Saturday to finally show that the nerves were getting to him. From holes 12 through 15, he bogeyed three of the four. On the final hole, his tee shot went into the trees and he had to take a penalty, finishing with another bogey. He shot 38 on the back.

Conversely, Smith had three birdies to one bogey on the back nine. His 68 in the third round was the best round of the day, and the Australian appeared calm throughout. He should be, as he’s been in this position before.

Two years ago, he finished runner-up to Dustin Johnson. He also has two other Top 10s. Another reason to like Smith is his putting. He is averaging 1.52 putts per hole, first of those that made the cut.

In the third round, Smith also had 12 of 14 fairways hit. His greens in regulation are a concern, however, as he only found the putting surface 56% of the time on Saturday.

Still, Smith has been mostly solid tee to green. He has only six bogeys in the three rounds. Look for him to catch Scheffler on the back nine and win the green jacket.

Best odds: +280 at FanDuel

Winner to bogey 18th hole (+250)

The final hole at Augusta National is one of the toughest in the tournament. It has ranked second hardest in the first round, tied for third in the second round, and the first most difficult in Saturday’s third round.

The pin placement for Sunday is in a position that makes it extremely difficult to get near, as it is in the front left of the green. A bunker guards the front and right of the hole, and golfers try and use the natural backstop of the green to feed the ball closer to the hole.

But if they misjudge the shot and end up on the second tier, it is almost certainly a bogey. If they hit it short, the ball will roll off the false front, and again, a bogey is a distinct possibility.

Scheffler has made bogey in two of his three rounds. Smith made a double bogey in the first round, then a birdie and a par. It is an unpredictable hole, especially with the nerves of trying to win a major championship. Look for a bogey to be made on this iconic finishing hole.

Best odds: +250 at Betway

Will there be a playoff – Yes (+400)

There hasn’t been a playoff at the Masters since Sergio Garcia outdueled Justin Rose in 2017 to win his first major championship. Extra holes, however, could be a reality on Sunday.

This is going to be a three-golfer race between Im, Smith, and Scheffler. They are all going to be in the final group and will be able to put pressure on one another. If Smith or Im can jump out and get a couple of birdies on the front nine, they will give Scheffler something to think about.

Remember, the Masters doesn’t start until the back nine on Sunday. If Smith or Im (who also finished second in 2020) get to 7-under and Scheffler can’t control his nerves, we could definitely see a playoff on Sunday.

Best odds: +400 at DraftKings
