A month after setting a sports betting record for the amount wagered, the Nutmeg State now has a new revenue mark. The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection reported the state's three online sportsbooks and two retail wagering sites combined for $30.3 million in gross hold, besting September's previous high of $26.6 million.
The $25.5 million in adjusted revenue is a 147% year-over-year increase and all-time high in the Nutmeg State. November’s $228.2 million handle, second-highest ever behind October’s $229.5 million, was up 10.9% year-over-year.
Connecticut sports betting operators produced a 13.3% hold on gross revenue, the second-highest ever, and a record 11.2% win rate on adjusted revenue. The state filled its coffers in November with $3.5 million, up from the $2.1 million haul in October.

Connecticut’s three online sports betting operators accounted for $218 million of the total November handle and $28.8 million of the gross revenue. FanDuel took the top spot for the second consecutive month behind a $98.4 million handle, the most by a single online operator ever in the state. DraftKings wasn’t far behind at $91.2 million.
FanDuel also made the most ever in a single month, hauling in $13.1 million in gross revenue. Both FanDuel and DraftKings recorded holds over 12.9%. Fanatics Sportsbook produced $3.9 million in revenue on a $28.4 million handle.
Retail report
Retail sportsbooks combined to generate $10.1 million in November, down about $700,000 from October. A 15.3% hold on in-person wagers resulted in $1.6 million in revenue.
The Connecticut Lottery’s partnership with Fanatics accounted for $9.8 million of all retail wagers. The hold reached 15.3%. The XL Center generated over $62,000 in revenue on a more than $372,000 handle.
