Today’s massive, 16-game MLB slate is filled with many longball possibilities.
I’ve scoured Caesars Sportsbooks’ betting board and found three hitters in terrific matchups who could go yard today.

HR picks for April 6
Oneil Cruz (+500 at Caesars)
Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Oneil Cruz has a tasty matchup with the wind blowing out to right-center against New York Yankees righty Will Warren.
Cruz is off to a fine start. His 62.5% hard-hit rate has led to seven hits in 29 at-bats with two home runs against right-handed pitching.
In fact, 33 of the left-handed-hitting shortstops 42 career bombs have come from mistakes by right-handed arms, and he has a good chance to jack one today off Warren.
Warren isn’t a fly-ball pitcher, but he’ll hang one. The Yankees righty allowed nearly two home runs per nine frames in 2024 and 1.80 per nine this season.
If Cruz doesn’t get to Warren, he still has a good chance to go yard against a Yankees bullpen that’s served up four bombs in 115 total batters faced.
Aaron Judge (+190 at Caesars)
We’ll stay in Pittsburgh and roll with Aaron Judge to get one up in the air against Andrew Heaney or the Pirates bullpen.
Judge mashed 58 home runs in 2024 and has picked up where he left off by cracking six bombs in 33 at-bats.
The Yankees slugger is always a threat to blast one and has crushed one home run in 13 career at-bats against Pirates lefty Andrew Heaney.
Heaney hasn’t allowed a homer yet in 2025, but righties have spanked 155 of the 174 home runs allowed by the Pittsburgh southpaw across 1019 1/3 career frames.
The wind is blowing out and right-handed lumber have troubled Heaney throughout his career. Judge already has one home run in 13 at-bats against the Pittsburgh vet, and my MLB picks like his chances of crushing one this afternoon.
Francisco Lindor (+320 at Caesars)
New York Mets switch-hitting shortstop Francisco Lindor is starting to heat up and has a good matchup to crack his first home run of the season at home against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Lindor is riding a four-game hitting streak entering today’s matchup. He’s squared up 26% of the pitches he’s seen; the swings have been there, but he hasn’t gone deep.
The All-Star SS has punished righties throughout his career; his .200 ISO has led to 169 bombs against right-handed arms, and he may look to take Jays righty Bowden Francis downtown.
Left-handed bats have troubled Francis; 13 of his 24 career homers allowed have come against left-handed hitting, and bombs this season came from the left side of the plate.
The Jays bullpen has surrendered five home runs, so Lindor will have his chances to smoke his first tater this afternoon.
