HR picks for April 29

Bobby Witt Jr. (+400 at DraftKings)

Bobby Witt Jr. is the only player who is going to give Aaron Judge a run for his money when it comes to the AL MVP. The shortstop is hitting .315 this season and enjoying a 19-game hitting streak as he continues to spray baseballs from gap to gap.

Although Witt only sports two home runs on the season, it’s only a matter of time until some of his hits leave the ballpark.

The Kansas City Royals will face Taj Bradley of the Tampa Bay Rays tonight, and the right-hander has already allowed four homers. At +400 odds, it’s worth a look for Witt to finally go deep.

Cal Raleigh (+295 at DraftKings)

Easily the best power-hitting catcher in the game, Cal Raleigh is tied for the league lead in home runs, boasting 10 long balls in 28 contests.

The Seattle Mariners host the Los Angeles Angels tonight, and Raleigh has five homers at T-Mobile Park. The Halos send the struggling Jack Kochanowicz to the mound, who has a 5.47 ERA and has already surrendered five dingers.

Raleigh is 2-for-2 lifetime against the right-hander (including a homer), and another could land in the bleachers in tonight’s series opener.

Eugenio Suarez (+425 at DraftKings)

Eugenio Suarez is destroying baseballs in 2025. While his .206 batting average isn’t great, 10 homers are something that catches the eye.

The Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman is coming off a four-homer game against the Atlanta Braves over the weekend, and that’s going to give Suarez a ton of confidence at the plate tonight.

He is now set to face New York Mets left-hander David Peterson, who has surrendered two home runs so far. With +425 odds and the luxury of facing a southpaw, it wouldn’t hurt to put some money down on this one.

  1. Aaron Judge Yankees (+235)
  2. Shohei Ohtani Dodgers (+275)
  3. Yankees Over 1.5 (+120)
