Favorites to win the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301
After posting seven Top-2 finishes — including three straight wins — in an eight-race stretch, Kyle Larson had finished 16th and 18th in his last two events. But even a mini-slump doesn't remove Larson from the top of the odds board, as his overall dominance of the NASCAR circuit sees him as the +400 favorite this weekend. Larson has tallied four wins on the season (five including the All-Star Race) and sits just 10 points behind Denny Hamlin for the Cup Series points lead.
Kyle Busch, who is red-hot right now, sits second at +900. Busch has two wins to his credit this season and after finishing second at Atlanta last weekend has four straight Top-3 finishes and six Top 5s in his last seven races.
The aforementioned points leader Hamlin is tied with Martin Truex Jr. for fourth on the board at +800, while Chase Elliott rounds out the Top 5 — and the drivers at better than 10/1 odds — with a price of +900.
How to bet on NASCAR
The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.
Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
