My analysis
It's been a rough campaign for the Philadelphia 76ers, but a lot of that has been due to the absence of star big man Joel Embiid.
Embiid has dealt with non-stop injury problems this season, playing in just 11 games. However, despite the lack of time on the court, the former MVP has played as advertised when available.
In two appearances since Christmas, the former MVP has hit the Over on tonight's points prop, dropping 32 against Utah and 37 against Portland.
Although the 76ers will have a tough time winning outright as road dogs, Philly's star center should torch the Golden State Warriors from the jump.

Tyrese Maxey has emerged as the main man for the 76ers, with the star guard dishing out 5.4 dimes per night. He had six dimes on Wednesday against the Kings and even dished out 12 in a stellar Christmas Day performance against the Celtics, helping the Sixers pull off the upset.
The Warriors are 17th in the Association in assists allowed and have been carved up by point guards in this specific area, allowing nearly 10 dimes per contest. This feels like the perfect opportunity for Maxey to get his teammates involved and find the passing lanes tonight.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have found success against the 76ers in recent memory, winning three in a row and outscoring them by 35 points across their two meetings last season.
Golden State hasn’t played since Monday, while Philly is on the tail end of a back-to-back. The Dubs continue their lengthy homestand here and will be motivated to respond after falling to the Cavs in the Bay Area.
