My analysis
New York Knicks swingman Mikal Bridges is coming off a game against Atlanta where he was limited to 10 points, but that was the first time all season he scored fewer than 15 points.
That makes the Over 14.5 points for Bridges tonight extremely tempting against a Milwaukee Bucks team struggling to defend the perimeter.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez, and Bobby Portis, the Bucks are still incredibly talented down low, but they've been awful on the wing and desperately need a healthy Khris Middleton to return to the floor.
The Bucks are 19th in the league in defensive rating and play at a fast tempo which has led to them allowing 116 points per game while ranking 28th in 3-pointers allowed per game (15.0). Milwaukee could also have tired legs on defense since it played last night against the Jazz.
With Bridges averaging 16.1 ppg and shooting 37% from deep, bet on him to go Over his points tonight.

The Knicks have taken a massive step back on defense and are struggling in the post. N.Y. is 23rd in the league in points in the paint allowed per game (51.4), 24th in rebounding rate (48.8%) and 29th in opponent 2-point percentage (58.9%). That's bad news against Antetokounmpo who dominates inside with 30.4 points and 11.6 rebounds per game on 65.6% shooting.
Both teams have performed below expectations, but the Bucks have been on a whole other level of disappointment. They're 16th in the NBA in net rating (-2.7) and had lost six in a row before beating the 1-7 Jazz last night.
Milwaukee is on the tail-end of a back-to-back while the Knicks have enjoyed a day off and will be playing at home for the first time since October 28. I'm not willing to lay seven points on the Knicks but I'll take them on the ML.
