After dropping six straight, the Bulls have won two of the last three. The Pacers have dropped two of three and will look to slow down the upstart Bulls in an early evening matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
My Bulls vs. Pacers predictions and NBA picks expect Zach Collins to shine in another start and for Indiana to win a high-scoring home game on Sunday, March 2.
Bulls vs Pacers prediction
My best bet
Zach Collins Over 27.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115 at bet365)
My analysis
Nikola Vucevic will be sidelined for a fourth straight game, and Zach Collins should be the Chicago Bulls' starting center once again. Over his last three, Collins has averaged a whopping 18.3 points, 11.7 boards, and four assists across 35.3 minutes, good for 34 PRA.
Collins posted 25 PRA in his first start with the Bulls, and he’s hit the Over in each of the last two. He was buried on the Spurs’ depth chart, averaging just 11.8 minutes per game before getting dealt to the Bulls.
Since arriving in Chicago, Collins has averaged 16.7 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per 36 minutes, good for 32.7 PRA. He’s seen limited opportunities but made the most of them, and he’ll get another chance to shine in a favorable matchup.
This season, the Indiana Pacers have allowed the 10th-most points per game (115.4), the 14th-most rebounds (44.5), and the 14th-most assists (26.7). Indy sports the 11th-worst defensive rating (114.2), and over the last seven, that defensive rating has fallen to 115.4.
The Pacers’ defense has been a favorable matchup for opposing centers this season, allowing 22.9 points, 15.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists to the position. Over the last seven, Indiana has surrendered 24.2 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists.
Collins should see heavy minutes tonight, and I expect him to excel with increased playing time and opportunity.
Bulls vs Pacers same-game parlay
The Pacers have hit the Over in 32 of 59 games this season, and the Bulls have gone Over in three straight. On the season, the Bulls have scored 116.5 points per game (eighth-highest), and the Pacers have scored 116.4 (ninth-highest).
Indiana has won nine more games than Chicago this season, but both teams have similar ATS records. The Bulls are 29-30-1, and the Pacers are 28-29-1. This is quite a lofty spread, especially given the teams’ records across their last three. I expect the Bulls to stay somewhat competitive in this one, but Indy should prevail.
