My analysis
Karl-Anthony Towns dominated the Toronto Raptors in his last game out as he racked up 27 points, 20 rebounds, a pair of assists, and one block in Tuesday’s win.
The New York Knicks center has been a force on the glass this season while picking up his fair share of assists and I’m expecting another dominant performance against the Boston Celtics tonight.
Towns is averaging 13.6 boards per game, second to only Domantas Sabonis (14.3) for the league lead. KAT isn’t just scoring off his own rebounds, though – he’s also dishing out to teammates.
He’s notching 3.3 dimes per contest and is one of just 11 centers to average 3+ assists per game this season.
The 7-footer has accumulated Over 15.5 rebounds plus assists in three of his last six games and should have a strong game on the glass vs the Celtics.
Boston has been relatively weak at offensive rebounding, where KAT does most of his work.
The Celtics rank 23rd in opponent defensive rebounds per game (34), while Towns leads the NBA with 10.4 defensive boards per contest.
