DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for February 1

76ers Tyrese Maxey 28.5 points: LESS

With Joel Embiid now sidelined for the remainder of the season, it’s officially just Tyrese Maxey carrying the load for the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite their poor season, the guard is doing his thing, averaging 27.2 PPG. However, he’s scored less than 28.5 points in three of his last five appearances.

Philly is also playing the surging Golden State Warriors tonight, who have been rejuvenated by the arrival of Jimmy Butler. Maxey put up a mere 14 points the last time he faced the Dubs this season as well. He’ll have a quiet evening.

Bucks Damian Lillard 24.5 points: LESS

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are leading the Milwaukee Bucks as usual, but both players have been playing through injuries lately. It’s been evident in Dame’s play, scoring less than 24.5 points in three of his four outings since the All-Star festivities in the Bay Area.

He compiled only 19 points on February 27 against the Nuggets while scoring 22 two days before that. Of course, Lillard is still making his impact felt, I just don’t believe it will be a huge night for him against the Dallas Mavericks.

Grizzlies Ja Morant 7.5 assists: MORE

Ja Morant is the Memphis Grizzlies’ top playmaker, averaging 7.4 dimes per night. While he’s only dished out more than 7.5 assists in two of his last eight, there’s one specific reason I’m eyeing this entry tonight.

Memphis is taking on the San Antonio Spurs, who Morant has dominated as a facilitator. In two meetings in 2024-25, he’s averaging 11.5 assists against them. That alone is enough for me to believe Ja is going to be passing the rock at a high level here.

Grizzlies Desmond Bane 2.5 threes: LESS

Desmond Bane is one of the better three-point shooters in the league, but that’s not been the case this season. He’s only averaging 2.2 makes on 5.8 attempts per night for a 37.8% clip. Still respectable, but he was also taking over eight triples per game last season.

In February, Bane averaged 2.2, makes for a 35% clip. He’s converted less than 2.5 treys in three of his last four games as well. Of course, there’s always the chance he gets hot, but I’ll bet against that tonight.

Rockets Jalen Green 22.5 points: MORE

The Houston Rockets are surging, and Jalen Green is leading the way. The guard is averaging 21.6 points per contest and had a very impressive February, averaging 22.5 PPG. He’s also on a heater right now, dropping more than 22.5 points in three of his last five outings.

While Green had 21 last time out, he scored 35, 25, and 25 in the three games prior to that. He’s up against the Sacramento Kings tonight, who he’s dominated this season, averaging 28 points across two meetings. The youngster will show out.

Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo 12.5 rebounds: MORE

The Greek Freak is always a beast on the boards and he has a prime opportunity to be that again tonight against a depleted Dallas Mavericks team with minimal frontcourt pieces healthy. He’s brought down more than 12.5 rebounds in two of his last three, grabbing 19 in the win over Denver two nights ago.

Moses Brown has been the Mavs’ starting center with Anthony Davis and Daniel Gafford both injured. That’s light work for Giannis, who should have another huge evening as a rebounder. Lock this one in with confidence.
