DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 16
Quentin Grimes 22.5 points: MORE
This is my favorite play of the slate, and it’s not particularly close. Quentin Grimes will get a first crack at the team that traded him away last month, and he’ll do so in the midst of the hottest scoring streak of his career.
Grimes has averaged 26.1 points across his last seven games and has gone for more than 22.5 points in three straight and five of seven. The Mavs have allowed the second-most points per game across the last 10, and they're so banged up they may be forced to forfeit games within the next 10 days,
James Harden 23.5 points: MORE
James Harden averaged just 21.5 points before the All-Star break, but he’s averaged 25.8 in 13 games since the break. In that span, Harden went for more than 23.5 nine times, and he’s done so in six straight.
The Hornets have allowed the second-most points per game to PGs over the last seven at a whopping 30.3.
Anthony Edwards 3.5 threes: MORE
Anthony Edwards leads the NBA in total 3-pointers made at 265, averaging 4.1 per contest. Ant-Man has gone for more than 3.5 threes in 40 of 65 games this season, including six made triples in his first game against the Jazz.
Utah has allowed the most 3-pointers to opponents this season at 14.8, but it's allowed 15.8 across its last 10. Edwards should have no problem going for more than 3.5 triples for a second straight matchup with Utah.
Donovan Clingan 9.5 rebounds: MORE
Donovan Clingan has started 13 straight games for the Blazers and averaged exactly 9.5 rebounds in that span. He’s gone for more than 9.5 boards five times and pulled down nine rebounds in two more.
Clingan has grabbed at least nine rebounds in four straight games, and he gets an elite matchup with a Toronto team tied for the fourth-most rebounds allowed to opponents over the last seven games at 16.8.
Austin Reaves 34.5 points+rebounds+assists: MORE
No LeBron James? No problem for Austin Reaves. The Lakers guard is enjoying the most productive season of his career, and he’s been phenomenal with James on the sideline.
In six games without James this season, Reaves has averaged 44.9 PRA, and he’s gone for more than 34.5 in five straight. The Suns have allowed the sixth-most points and fifth-most rebounds over their last 10, making this an excellent matchup.
Cam Johnson 18.5 points: MORE
Cam Johnson is averaging a career-high 18.9 points per game this season, and he should be in line for additional scoring responsibilities tonight.
Cam Thomas is out for the season, and Johnson has averaged 20.2 with Thomas on the sideline. Johnson has posted 19.5 points per game at home compared to 18.4 on the road, and the Nets will face an Atlanta team that has allowed the eighth-most points across its last 10 at 119.9
