DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 18

Cavs Donovan Mitchell 24.5 points: LESS

Spida is of course the main man for the Cavs this season, averaging a team-best 24.2 points. However, he’s scored less than 24.5 points in three straight games. Donovan Mitchell is averaging 23.2 points in March and 22.9 against Western Conference opponents, and Cleveland faces the L.A. Clippers tonight.

While this is the first time the Cavs are clashing with the Clips this season, Mitchell isn’t playing his best basketball lately and Los Angeles is respectable defensively. He’ll have a relatively quiet night.

Celtics Derrick White 17.5 points: MORE

While Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum get a lot of recognition for the Boston Celtics, Derrick White is a key piece for this squad, too. The eight-year veteran is averaging 16.7 points this season and has averaged 19.7 so far in March in seven appearances.

White has registered more than 17.5 points in three straight outings, dropping 18, 22, and 18. The Celtics take on the Brooklyn Nets this evening and although White has only averaged 11.5 points against them across two meetings, I’ll take his hot hand.

Clippers James Harden 8.5 assists: MORE

James Harden may not be averaging a ton of points per game for the Clippers, but he’s still playmaking at a high level. The Beard is dishing out 8.7 assists per night and that number has jumped to 9.8 in March so far. Harden is picking apart his opponents.

Before finishing with eight dimes in back-to-back games, Harden had 11, 17, and 11 assists across three contests before that. Yes, the Cavs are elite defensively, but he’s also an elite facilitator.

Hawks Dyson Daniels 15.5 points: LESS

Dyson Daniels has stepped into a starting role in 2024-25 with the Atlanta Hawks and he’s certainly been impressing, averaging 13.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. However, his total tonight is too high for my liking.

The Aussie has scored less than 15.5 points in four of his last five and is averaging 14 PPG in March and 14.2 since the All-Star break. He’ll have another quiet evening as a scorer as the Hawks face the Charlotte Hornets.

Hornets Mark Williams 11.5 rebounds: MORE

Mark Williams is one of the better rebounders in the Association and the numbers back it up. He’s averaging 10.1 boards per night and has grabbed more than 11.5 in two of his last three appearances. He’s been dominating on the glass in March, averaging 11.7 rebounds.

The Hornets are taking on the Hawks, who are 15th in the league in opponent rebounds allowed. He also brought down 14 boards earlier this season against Atlanta.

Cavs Darius Garland 19.5 points: MORE

You can’t be the best team in the NBA without a collective unit. While Mitchell might be the Cavs’ best player, Darius Garland is a stud in his own right. He’s averaging a career-best 21 PPG in ‘24-25. The Vanderbilt product is doing his thing on a nightly basis.

Garland has registered more than 19.5 points in three of his last five and even erupted for 30 a week ago. The Clippers are allowing over 23 points per contest to point guards as well. He’ll have a productive night in Los Angeles.
