DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for March 19
Nikola Jokic 27.5 points: MORE
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander might be leading the MVP race, but The Joker is certainly making his case. He’s playing phenomenal basketball as of late and has scored more than 27.5 points in four straight outings, erupting for 30+ in three of them. He even dropped 40 points on Saturday.
Nikola Jokic is averaging 29.1 PPG in 2024-25 and has averaged 29.3 points per night in the month of March. While the big man is only scoring around 24 points this season against tonight’s opponent in the L.A. Lakers, I’ll believe in his hot streak. The Serb will ball out again.
Devin Booker 26.5 points: MORE
Devin Booker was struggling for a handful of games but he finally broke out of his cold streak on Monday night, scoring 27 points in a big win over the Toronto Raptors. The Phoenix Suns guard is averaging 25.7 PPG on the season.
While Book did score less than 26.5 points in four straight before Monday, he did drop 29 on the Chicago Bulls the last time Phoenix faced them. The Bulls are in the desert tonight. Booker will show up and show out.
Chris Paul 6.5 assists: MORE
CP3 is a frequent name in my entries because of his playmaking. Chris Paul is still dropping dimes after all of these years and has even more opportunity with the rock in his hands right now because Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox are done for the season.
It also helps that Paul has dished out more than 6.5 assists in three of his last five appearances. He’s averaging 7.8 dimes in 2024-25, and that number shoots up to 8.0 at home. The San Antonio Spurs host the Jalen Brunson-less New York Knicks this evening, and Paul had seven dimes against them earlier in the campaign.
Jamal Murray 2.5 threes: MORE
It’s common knowledge by now that Jamal Murray is a Laker killer. He’s torched them time and time again and hit a game-winner against Los Angeles last week. The Nuggets guard is averaging 2.4 made threes on 6.0 attempts per game for a 39.7% clip this season.
When it comes to facing the Lakers, Murray is averaging 4.3 triples per game. He’s also drained more than 2.5 treys in three of his previous five appearances. Murray will find a rhythm from downtown here.
Rudy Gobert 9.5 rebounds: LESS
Rudy Gobert has always been one of the better rebounders in the league, but he’s averaging his lowest total of boards per game this season since his second year in the Association. Gobert is bringing down 10.3 rebounds per night.
He’s averaging only 8.6 boards since the All-Star break. While the Minnesota Timberwolves are taking on the lowly New Orleans Pelicans tonight, whom Gobert had 14 rebounds against earlier in the season, I still like this entry.
Kevin Durant 25.5 points: MORE
While Booker finally had a big night, KD has been struggling. But, we’re talking about one of the best scorers to ever step foot on the hardwood and I’m expecting him to break out tonight.
Although Kevin Durant has scored less than 25.5 points in four straight, he scored 27 against the Bulls the last time Phoenix faced them. I expect the Suns’ star duo to both do their thing at home. Durant is too good to keep putting up average numbers.
