DraftKings NBA Pick6 fantasy basketball lineup for December 31

Knicks Jayson Tatum Less Than 26.5 Points

Tatum is having a solid season for the defending champions, averaging 28.5 points on 36% shooting from three-point land. However, I’m expecting a relatively quiet performance from him here. Jayson Tatum just scored 22 points in back-to-back contests against the Pacers after scoring more than 26.5 in three straight.

The last time he faced the Raptors, Tatum also dropped just 24 points. While scoring that many points in a game is certainly not a bad thing, I don’t think you’ll see him over 25 tonight. He also averaged just 21 PPG against Toronto last season in three appearances.

Knicks Kevin Durant Less Than 28.5 Points

Kevin Durant is a cold-blooded scorer and that’s been no different in 2024-25 with averages of 27.7 points. He’s been carrying most of the load lately with Devin Booker out with an injury. But, Booker returns tonight, which is why I am eyeing this entry. Even though KD’s co-star will be a on a minutes restriction, Durant’s total is a little too high for me.

While he’s dropped more than 28.5 in three of the last five games, Durant has been the main man. He will be sharing the rock a lot more now, even when Booker is still getting up to speed. Durant also averaged 25 points per night against the Grizzlies in 2023-24. He’ll score less than 28.5.

Knicks Rudy Gobert Less Than 10.5 Rebounds

It’s common knowledge that Rudy Gobert is known for his ability to dominate on the glass. However, he’s averaging his lowest rebounding total since 2017-18, grabbing 10.7 boards per game. The big man has brought down less than 10.5 rebounds in five of his last seven, staying in single digits in four of those appearances.

The Timberwolves happen to be facing the Thunder tonight, one of the best all-around teams in the Association. I believe they will contain Gobert’s productivity on the glass. He hasn’t been at his best this season and tonight will show just that.

Knicks Tyrese Haliburton More Than 8.5 Assists

It has been a disappointing campaign for Tyrese Haliburton. He’s putting up very inconsistent numbers from a scoring standpoint, averaging just 17.8 points per contest. That being said, Hali is still playmaking at an extremely high level.

The guard is averaging 8.7 dimes. More or less, he’s been consistent when it comes to getting his teammates involved. Haliburton has dished out more than 8.5 assists in five of his last eight outings, getting in double digits in four of those games. The last time he faced the Bucks, Hali also had nine assists. Lock this one in.

Knicks Pascal Siakam More Than 19.5 Points

Pascal Siakam is having a very solid season for Indiana, emerging as their primary scoring option over Haliburton. He’s averaging 19.8 PPG and there’s reason to believe he’ll produce the goods tonight. Siakam has scored more than 19.5 in five of the last eight and finished with 19 in one of those outings.

The Pacers clash with the Bucks tonight, who Siakam dropped 25 against in November. He’s playing with a lot of confidence right now and I believe that will continue into this Eastern Conference matchup versus Milwaukee.

Knicks Jalen Williams More Than 5.5 Rebounds

Jalen Williams has carved out a nice role for himself on the Thunder and he continues to improve every season. He’s averaging 21.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists. We’ll focus on his rebounding here. Williams has brought down more than 5.5 in three of his last five appearances and grabbed 10 rebounds two nights ago against the Grizzlies.

The Timberwolves are allowing nearly nine rebounds per game to power forwards and Williams is a confident figure down low, especially right now. He’ll use his physicality to grab more than tonight’s total.
