Tyrese Haliburton put on a show in the semi-final of the NBA In-Season Tournament, scoring 27 points and dropping 15 dimes on the Bucks. Not only did Haliburton eliminate the Bucks, but he also hit them with the Dame Time celebration in the closing seconds after his dagger three-pointer. 

When asked about it after the game, Damian Lillard said he had no issues with the celebration, but it's also important to be humble in your moment of celebration because you never know when the tables might turn.

For the semi-final game of the NBA In-Season Tournament between the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks, I wrote a game preview and my best bet was Tyrese Haliburton Over 11.5 assists. Well, I'm about to flip the script on you and show you how dedicated I am to the numbers because my best bet for the rematch is Haliburton Under his assists total, but this time it's trading at 12.5 assists.

A couple of things with Haliburton: the Bucks are weak at the point of attack and struggle to stop him, from getting to wherever he wants on the court. That's a fact, and you can see it in his potential assists, as he had 26 in his first game of the season against the Bucks and 30 in the semi-final against the Bucks in Las Vegas. 

Both of these are massive numbers, but you know what else is a massive number? A total of 12.5 assists with the Over trading at -120. Haliburton is capable of carving up the Bucks defense, and the total is also too high to the point where we have a nice edge on betting on the Under. Both can be true.

This also isn't the NBA In-Season Tournament anymore, so a key player such as Haliburton being pushed a couple of extra minutes isn't likely. The Pacers are also playing in Milwaukee on Wednesday and are 6.5-point road underdogs. So, there's a chance this game gets away from the Pacers, and that would also lead to a decrease in minutes for their young superstar. 

Haliburton is trading with a higher total than he did in the tournament, and the circumstances around tonight's game are much different. These lines should've been flipped, with Haliburton trading with a total of 12.5 in the semi-final and 11.5 tonight. But they aren't, and that is why I'm placing a bet on the Under.

Haliburton is projected to have 12.1 assists against the Bucks, which means we can price the Under 12.5 assists at -130, but it is available on FanDuel at -106. Based on this projection, this bet is showing a positive expected value of 6%.

If we're betting on Haliburton to go Under his assists total, then we may as well add Obi Toppin to go Under his three-pointers made as well in the SGP because Toppin knocking down three-pointers is an easy way for Haliburton to add to his assists total. If Toppin is making three-pointers, I find it hard to believe we will see Haliburton go Under his total because these bets are very connected.

Toppin also only played 21 minutes against the Bucks in the semi-final matchup and had the worst plus-minus of any player on the Pacers roster, so this is a matchup where we could see Toppin receive fewer minutes.

Haliburton going Under his assists total isn't the only Under I favor for him tonight. I think both his totals are more reflective of his role and minutes in the NBA IST than in the regular season and need some adjusting. 

Haliburton made this matchup with the Bucks feel very personal, and I think they return the favor and find a way to force someone else to beat them. Haliburton's points total should be trading closer to 25.5 than 27.5.

At FanDuel, the Bucks opened as a 6-point home favorite over the Pacers on Wednesday. The line has since moved to Bucks -6.5 across the board. When these two teams met on a neutral court a little less than a week ago, the line closed at Bucks -5.5.

At DraftKings, the game total opened at 257 and is now up to 259, which is the highest total in NBA history. We are seeing various totals so make sure you shop around for the best number relative to which side you plan on betting on. Some sportsbooks are still trading it at 258.5.
