NBA Parlay Picks: Odds and Predictions for Thursday's Playoff Games

Despite a low-scoring start to this Nuggets/Clippers series, tonight's total is too low for our taste. With both teams desperate to snag a 2-1 series lead, we're taking the Over.

We have three more playoff games on the schedule in the Association tonight. The Knicks visit the Pistons, while the Thunder head on the road with a 2-0 lead over the Grizzlies. The Nuggets and Clippers round out the slate at Crypto.com Arena.

Check out my favorite NBA picks for Thursday, April 24, and my three-leg parlay for the action.

Today's best NBA Playoff parlay: April 24

Thunder -10

Pistons moneyline

Nuggets-Clippers Over 212.5

Pick #1: Thunder -10

The Oklahoma City Thunder have certainly looked the part of a title contender so far. They’ve dominated the Memphis Grizzlies through two games, beating them by 51 points in the series opener and 19 points in Game 2 on Tuesday.

OKC is a far superior team, and they’ve easily covered the spread in both contests. In fact, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander & Co. have covered tonight’s spread in six consecutive meetings with Memphis. Sure, returning home should give the Grizz a bit of a boost, but considering what I’ve seen from the Thunder, another blowout victory to take a 3-0 series lead seems more likely.

Pick #2: Pistons moneyline

The Detroit Pistons bounced back in Game 2 on Tuesday, tying the series at one with a 100-94 victory at Madison Square Garden. Detroit now heads back to Motown for Games 3 and 4. J.B. Bickerstaff’s squad has won four of their last five matchups against the New York Knicks, and this will be the first playoff game at Little Caesars Arena in a long time.

The spread is at only -1 in favor of the Knicks. This should be a close game, but Detroit will be rocking with the return of postseason basketball. I’m expecting another close affair, but the Pistons should benefit from the home-court advantage and continue their winning ways against the Knicks.

Pick #3: Nuggets-Clippers Over 212.5

The Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers series shifts to the Intuit Dome tonight. The first two games of this first-round matchup have been relatively low-scoring, not even hitting 210 points in regulation. However, due to a 105-102 score in Game 2, where L.A. evened up the series, the total is quite low tonight. That’s why we’re eyeing the Over.

Denver was third in the NBA in the regular season in scoring, while the Clippers were 20th. Defensively, the Nuggets are 20th, and Los Angeles ranks third. It’s not going to take much to get above 212.5 points in Game 3. A low-scoring game could still go Over this total.
