NBA Same-Game Parlay Picks: Harden, Holmgren Find Their Range

Our NBA SGP picks are keying in on a pair of 3-point props, with James Harden and Chet Holmgren figuring to be dialed in from deep in their respective Game 3s. But first, consider our 3-legger for Knicks-Pistons.

A trio of crucial NBA Playoff Game 3s are on the April 24 slate, starting with Knicks-Pistons in Detroit and wrapping up with Nuggets-Clippers in Los Angeles. Our NBA picks have cobbled together some potentially lucrative same-game parlays for each contest.

Here are our NBA SGP picks for Thursday night.

Tonight's NBA same-game parlay picks

Our betting experts have scoured through today's NBA odds to find your best SGP bets for Thursday's NBA lineup:

Knicks vs Pistons same-game parlay

OG Anunoby 15+ points

Jalen Duren 10+ rebounds

Knicks moneyline

OG Anunoby will attack the paint for high percentage looks while also picking up points from the foul line, with projections north of 17 points.

Jalen Duren is a beast on the boards and forecasts call for at least 10 rebounds in Game 3.

The Knicks return serve in Game 3 as one of the better road teams in the league. They’re 20-8 SU when laying points as a visitor.

Thunder vs Grizzlies same-game parlay

Chet Holmgren Over 1.5 threes

Zach Edey Under 10.5 rebounds

Thunder -8.5

A Game 1 props article offered a quick rule of thumb: “Every time this handicapper is assigned a Grizzlies game this postseason, an Zach Edey Under will come with it.”

Blame Chet Holmgren. He plays Edey off the court.

Holmgren is far more physical than given credit for, cutting into some of Edey’s purpose right there, and his offensive skill set drags the massive rookie away from the hoop, rendering his best assets moot. If Edey cannot defend the rim or crash the boards, he drags down Memphis.

Even in Game 2, nominally competitive into the fourth quarter, Edey played only 26 minutes and snagged just seven rebounds. For context: Jackson played 34 minutes, Santi Aldama played 30 minutes, and even Marvin Bagley III logged 11.

Compromising the Grizzlies’ roster design that thoroughly explains why there is such quick faith in the Thunder to cover this three-bucket spread.

Nuggets vs Clippers same-game parlay

Jamal Murray Over 20.5 points

Nuggets +5.5

James Harden Over 2.5 3-pointers

Jamal Murray isn’t the only Denver star who I’ll be watching closely tonight. Nikola Jokic had some uncharacteristic blunders in Game 2, from missed free throws to seven turnovers, but it’s reasonable to expect a bounce-back effort from the world’s best player here. And that would put the visitors in position to steal one on the road.

Both games so far have come down to a couple of late possessions, so a line of 5.5 seems a touch too high. I’ll take the points with the Nuggets and trust in Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun to do just enough defensively.

James Harden didn’t deserve to be on the losing team in Game 1 after a 32-point, 11-assist effort, and I see him grabbing a share of the spotlight again tonight, particularly with his lights-out recent numbers from downtown.

The Beard has made 4+ 3-pointers in four of his last five contests, including both games of this series, and I’ll pad my SGP with the Over on 2.5 triples for Harden here.
