My analysis
The Detroit Pistons earned their third straight road win on Wednesday night as Cade Cunningham (25 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists) led the charge with a triple-double in a 116-113 victory over the Miami Heat.
The Pistons have been road warriors all season and I’ll be looking for them to drop Over 122.5 points vs. a struggling Dallas Mavericks squad that’s been brutal defensively down the stretch.
Detroit is averaging 116.1 ppg as the visitor this season, the seventh-best mark in the NBA, and has hit the team total Over in 24 of its last 29 away games (+18.30 Units / 55% ROI).
The Pistons have been even better on the road since February 11, going 8-2 overall, scoring 125.4 ppg (2nd), and holding a plus-minus of +14.9 – tops in the league.
Meanwhile, the Mavs have given up an NBA-worst 129.1 papg this month while allowing at least 122 points in each of their last 10 contests. That number has inflated all the way up to 131 papg during Dallas’ current four-game slide.
