It’s another packed slate tonight, including a showdown at the top of the East and the latest installment of the Battle of L.A.
That makes the NBA player props market the place to be, and I’ve selected my three favorite NBA picks for the February 28 slate.

NBA player props for February 28
Jaylen Wells Over 10.5 points (-110 at bet365)
The Memphis Grizzlies have unearthed a gem in Jaylen Wells, their second-round pick out of Washington State. He’s making a real run at the Rookie of the Year award as a key part of Memphis’s starting five, and I’m buying into his solid recent scoring.
Wells has scored 14 or more points in four of his last five contests, including 19 points in Tuesday’s overtime win over Phoenix, and I love the Over on 10.5 points for him tonight against the New York Knicks.
While he’ll cool off a little from downtown after going 9-for-14 in his past two outings, he’s going to get open looks as long as Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are attacking the paint.
Wells is shooting 49% from the field in February, and I expect the Grizzlies’ league-leading offense (123.3 ppg) to create problems for a New York defense that’s been out of sorts lately. The Knicks have given up 118 points or more six times this month, and I see Wells being one of the beneficiaries of that here.
Pascal Siakam Under 27.5 points + rebounds (-105 at bet365)
If the season ended today, the Indiana Pacers would have homecourt advantage for the first round of the playoffs, and a balanced offense has helped Indiana win four of its last five games.
But that’s meant fewer opportunities for Pascal Siakam to stuff the stat sheet, and I’m fading his points + rebounds combo prop tonight. This line has already dropped a little after opening at 28.5, and he’s fallen short of the 27.5 number in four of his past five contests.
Now he faces the likes of Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins, and a tough Miami Heat frontcourt. Siakam has been kept at bay in two of the teams’ three meetings this season, and this just smells Under, especially with Tyrese Haliburton assertively looking for his shot over the past week.
Siakam’s struggles from 3-point range are another factor to consider — he’s posted an icy 31% mark from beyond the arc this month — and I don’t see his rebounding compensating for that. Though he’s grabbed 29 boards across his last three outings, he’s only averaging 7.3 rpg overall this season.
Luka Doncic Over 7.5 assists (+115 at bet365)
Luka Doncic in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey is still hard to get used to, but I expect his stats to look very familiar again soon. Despite an underwhelming outing against the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, I’m counting on Luka to deliver the goods here against a Los Angeles Clippers team that he’s picked apart over the years.
Doncic’s assist totals are set to climb as he gets in sync with his new teammates, and I’m cashing in on this rare opportunity to get plus odds for Luka to dish eight dimes. I can’t pass on that.
His playmaking was on point against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, as he finished with 12 assists against his former team, and JJ Redick has been clear about wanting the ball in Doncic’s hands as often as possible.
From his connection with LeBron James to a few different lob targets, Doncic is in a great spot, and I’m expecting him to take his usual joy in pulling the Clippers’ big men out of the paint on switches. Whether he’s guarded by Kawhi Leonard or Derrick Jones Jr., expect Luka to showcase all of his setup skills tonight.
