Raptors vs Pacers Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

In a quick turnaround and in an attempt to flush their loss to the Boston Celtics down the drain, the Toronto Raptors move on to face the Indiana Pacers which presents another chance for Immanuel Quickley to carry the team to a hopeful win.

The Toronto Raptors are in a tough spot as they travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers less than 24 hours after battling the Boston Celtics.

It will be the second straight night the Raptors are double-digit underdogs. Who can lead Toronto to cover another big spread? Or will weary legs get the best of them?

My Raptors vs. Pacers predictions highlight a player prop and more NBA picks for this Eastern Conference matchup set to tip off at 7:00 pm ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana, on Wednesday, February 26.

Raptors vs Pacers prediction

My Raptors pick
Immanuel Quickley Over 15.5 points (-115 at PointsBet Canada)

My analysis
The Toronto Raptors put up a decent battle against the Boston Celtics last night, losing 111-101 but covering the 11-point spread.

While the loss drops the Raptors to 18-40 for the season, they have shown drastic improvement in the second half and are 8-8 straight up over their last 16 games.

Part of the reason for the improved play is because the team is starting to get healthy. That includes starting guard Immanuel Quickley.

Quickley thrived when he first came over from the New York Knicks last season, averaging 18.6 points, 6.8 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 39.5% from 3-point range. It was good enough that the Raptors front office gave IQ a nice extension in the offseason.

But injuries marred Quickley’s start to the season, resulting in him playing just nine of the team’s first 47 games. But IQ is finally healthy and starting to find his shooting rhythm once again.

Quickley is averaging 19 points while shooting 40.4% from 3-point range over his last six games. That includes the Celtics limiting him to 10 points and 0-of-6 from beyond the arc. But I am willing to give Quickley a pass against that stingy Celtics defense.

He shouldn’t have to worry about that against the Indiana Pacers tonight. The Pacers have also played much better in the second half. Indiana is 16-6 SU since the calendar flipped to 2025 and has climbed to fourth in the Eastern Conference.

However, despite those improvements, the Pacers still rank 21st in defensive rating and 22nd in opponent-effective field goal percentage. They also rank 20th in points allowed to opposing guards per game.

Oddsmakers have yet to adjust to Quickley’s resurgence (last night’s game against the Celtics helps) setting his point total at 15.5 for this matchup. IQ has gone for 20+ in four of his last six games. I’m sticking to the Over 15.5 here but 20+ points at +210 is tempting as well.

Raptors vs Pacers same-game parlay

Immanuel Quickley Over 15.5. points

Immanuel Quickley Over 2.5 threes

Pascal Siakam Over 7.5 rebounds

Let’s double down on Quickley’s big night by adding him to go Over 2.5 made threes tonight. IQ has gone over this number four times and is shooting 40.4% from 3-point range over his last six games and that includes going 0-for-6 in last night’s game against the Celtics.

I don’t expect that cold night to slow down Quickley who is putting up 7.8 threes per game over this six-game stretch, particularly in this matchup against the Pacers. Indiana ranks 18th in 3-point attempts and 19th in 3-point makes to opposing guards.

Let’s close this SGP out with a former Raptor by taking Pascal Siakam to go Over 7.5 rebounds. Siakam is averaging 7.3 rebounds per game this season. The Raptors are a middling rebounding team that ranks 16th in rebounding rate and opponent rebounds per game.

Also playing into this is the fact the Raps best rebounder, Jakob Poeltl is still day-to-day with a hip injury and did not play last night against Boston. I would find it unlikely that he suits up in the second half of a back-to-back.

Raptors vs Pacers spread and Over/Under analysis

  • The Raptors opened this Eastern Conference matchup as 9.5-point road underdogs but its the Pacers who have seen the early action, moving the spread to 10.5.
  • The Raptors have been one of the better bets in the NBA this season going 34-23-1 ATS and are actually 2-0 SU/ATS in two early-season meetings against the Pacers. But this is a tough spot playing their second game in as many nights, this one on the road, going against a high-tempo team like the Pacers. I'm staying away from the spread here.
  • The total hit the board at 236 and has steadily come down now sitting at 233.5 as of early Wednesday afternoon.
  • The Pacers are an Over team (32-23-1 O/U) and this feels like an Over matchup, despite the early Under money. Both teams play at a high tempo and aren't the strongest defensively.
