My analysis
Steph Curry has struggled mightily on offense this season. His 22.3 points are his fewest in a full season since 2011-12, and his 44.2% shooting mark is his worst in three seasons.
Over the last five, it’s been even worse for Curry, who’s averaged just 17.4 points on 38.5% shooting. Fortunately, Andrew Wiggins has been there to pick up the slack.
Wiggins has averaged a healthy 21.6 points on 45% shooting across his last five, scoring at least 20 points three times and at least 19 four times.
He finished with a team-high 27 in Wednesday’s upset victory over OKC, and I expect him to keep rolling tonight.
The Golden State Warriors rotations have been a mess this season as Steve Kerr continues to throw things at the wall in hopes that something sticks.
The departure of Klay Thompson left a void that’s yet to be filled by Buddy Hield and Brandin Podziemski, and injuries to an already shallow and undersized frontcourt group have caused issues on both ends of the court.
On the season, Wiggins and Curry are the only players to average 30 or more minutes per game, and across the last three weeks, no other player on Golden State’s roster has cracked even 25 minutes per game.
Wiggins is averaging 17.4 points per game on the season, but his consistent playing time is his most important stat to consider when betting on this scoring line tonight.
He’s on the court more than every other player not named Curry, and he’s not afraid to shoot.
Wiggins has scored at least 20 in just 16 of 41 games this season, but six of those games have come across his last eight outings.
He’s heating up and doing all he can for his struggling superstar teammate as of late.
Wiggins has averaged 18.3 points in nine matchups against Pacific Division opponents, hitting the Over in five, including three of five at home.
The Phoenix Suns have allowed 23.1 points per game to opposing PFs this season, making this a favorable matchup for Wiggins defensively.

Golden State is hot off an impressive win over the Thunder on Wednesday, but earning that victory came with a bit of luck. The Thunder shot just 40.4% as a team, their third-lowest mark of the campaign.
The Warriors shot 49.4%, good for their sixth-best showing. Golden State is just 11-12 straight up after a win and 1-8 against Pacific Division opponents this season.
The Suns are 8-3 straight up as road favorites and 6-4 against the Pacific Division.
The spread is just one point, so this is essentially a Pick ‘Em. I’ll take the more talented and healthier team to win on the road tonight.
The Suns are 4-1 to the Over across their last five, while the Warriors are 1-4 to the Under in that span.
Phoenix has hit the Under in 15 of 30 games as the favorite, and Golden State has done so in eight of 21 games as the underdog this season.
The Suns and Warriors have hit the Under in three straight head-to-head matchups, including both games this season.
Over the last six games, Phoenix has allowed the 10th-fewest points to opponents, and Golden State has allowed the 12th-fewest.
I expect this one to hit the Under.
