Anthony Edwards is playing at an extremely high level as of late and my Timberwolves vs. Heat predictions believe that will continue on Friday.

Anthony Edwards Over 26.5 points (-105 at bet365)
My analysis
Anthony Edwards is truly a special talent and he has improved every season since coming into the Association. In 2024-25, the former first overall pick is averaging 27.5 points per game on 40% shooting from 3-point land. He’s a fantastic three-level scorer who can go off on any given night.
Since the All-Star break, Ant has been showing out. He’s averaging 27.4 PPG in seven appearances and has cashed the Over in points in five of his last nine outings. Edwards balled out for 29 on Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets and also erupted for 44 points on March 2 against the Phoenix Suns.
While Edwards had just 22 points versus Miami earlier in the campaign, he plays substantially better on the road, averaging 29.1 PPG compared to 25.6 at home. He also puts up more points against Eastern Conference opponents, averaging 28.6.
Furthermore, he’s dropping 30.3 PPG in March so far in three games.
Ant is feeling it at the moment and I don’t see the Miami Heat stopping him from putting together another electric performance here. Plus, Tyler Herro and Andrew Wiggins are both questionable, which potentially takes away two key defenders for Miami.

While Julius Randle may not be posting the big numbers he did when he was the No. 1 option on the New York Knicks, he’s still playing a solid role as the Minnesota Timberwolves’ secondary option behind Edwards.
The veteran is averaging 18.9 points per night and has scored Over 17.5 points in five of his last seven, posting 20 or more points in all of the games where he’s cashed the Over. Randle dropped 25 on Wednesday in the 15-point win over the Hornets.
He’s scoring 20.1 PPG vs East teams compared to 18.4 against the West and has also averaged over 20 points in March. Alongside Ant, Randle will also produce the goods this evening.
As previously mentioned, the Wolves are rolling, winners of three straight. The Heat could be quite depleted tonight as Herro is battling an illness, while Wiggins has an ankle injury. Minnesota has won two of the last three meetings with Miami as well.
Also, the Timberwolves have won three of their last five games on the road.
