The Atlanta Hawks welcome the Golden State Warriors to State Farm Arena as NBA odds road underdogs, with both teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back and looking to continue their respective win streaks.
Trae Young has been shooting the lights out with 30-plus points in three of his last four outings and at least six 3-pointers in two straight games.
Find out if the Atlanta point guard can stay hot and lead his team to a fourth straight victory in my Warriors vs. Hawks NBA picks and predictions for Saturday, February 3.

Warriors vs Hawks predictions
Trae Young had a huge game last night, dropping a double-double with a team-high 32 points and 15 assists to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a third straight victory, this time defeating the Suns 129-120
The point guard was on fire from long range for the second straight contest as he dropped a game-high seven 3- 3-pointers on 11 attempts. That came just three days after he scored 26 points in a win against the Lakers where he shot 6-for-9 from downtown.
Young has been one of the highest-volume shooters from 3-point range this season, ranking seventh in the NBA in threes made per game (3.3) and sixth in attempts (8.9).
He should have plenty of space out there to do his thing tonight as the Golden State Warriors have been one of the worst teams in the league at defending the three. The Warriors rank 23rd in the NBA in 3-point attempts against per game (36.5) while averaging just over 13 threes against per contest.
Add in the fact that Golden State’s defense could be sluggish on the second half of a back-to-back, and Young should be able to find some room and cash the Over on 3.5 3-pointers tonight.
My best bet: Trae Young Over 3.5 threes made (+130 at DraftKings)
Warriors vs Hawks same-game parlay
Along with Over 3.5 threes for Young, I’ll also look for him to cash the Over on 36.5 combined points and assists. Young has averaged 27 points and 11 assists per game, so a standard performance from the point guard gets it done. He’s been even better of late, though, with 29.5 points per game and 12.8 assists per contest over his last four.
I’ll round out my same-game parlay by taking the Hawks to cover the spread. The Warriors rank 21st in defensive rating this season and, especially on a back-to-back, could struggle to contain the dynamic duo of Young and Dejounte Murray.

Warriors vs Hawks spread and Over/Under analysis
The Hawks come into tonight’s contest as the 3-point favorite on home court with the total opening at 246 points. I like the Hawks to cover the spread and cash the Over.
Atlanta enters the contest on a three-game win streak, having handily defeated some solid opponents in the Suns and Lakers this week. Both Young and Murray are playing well right now and that duo will likely be the key to any success the Hawks have tonight, as they’re combining for just under 50 points per game.
Beyond those two, the Hawks boast plenty of offensive talent in Bogdan Bogdanovic (17.3 ppg) and Jalen Johnson (15.6 ppg), as well as three others averaging more than 11 points per game (assuming De’Andre Hunter and Saddiq Bey are good to go). That kind of depth is something that the Warriors can’t keep up with, as they’ve been pretty disappointing offensively outside of Steph Curry.
The Over has been a common theme for both teams of late, with Golden State cashing the Over in 10 of its last 14 games and the Over going 4-1 in Atlanta’s last five outings. The Warriors rank 21st in defensive rating (118.4) while the Hawks rank 29th (123.2), so there won’t be much defense played tonight.
On the flip side, both teams rank within the upper echelon of the league offensively, as the Hawks sit third (120.8 PPG) and the Warriors rank seventh (118.6 PPG). Atlanta has seen at least 146 points scored in each of its last five outings and that trend should continue tonight.
