Warriors vs Nuggets Prediction, Picks, and Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

Nikola Jokic continues to fine-tune his game and has improved as a 3-point shooter. That's the part of his game we're looking to exploit when the Nuggets host the Warriors tonight.

Warriors vs Nuggets prediction

My best bet
Nikola Jokic Over 1.5 threes (-150 at bet365)

My analysis

Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic can truly do it all on the basketball court and he’ll go down in history as one of the best bigs to ever play in the Association. This season, he’s averaging 29.6 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 10.7 assists while shooting a mind-boggling 50% from 3-point land. Yes, you read that correctly.

The Joker has improved as a long-range shooter over the years. He’s also taking a career-high 4.3 triples per game with an average of 2.2 makes. The Serbian has hit the Over in made threes in six straight appearances, too. You can see the value in this bet, even if the odds aren’t super favorable.

Yes, the Golden State Warriors are a solid defensive team, allowing opponents to shoot just 32.7% from beyond the arc in 2024-25. However, opponents are draining 41% of their triples against Golden State across the last three contests.

Jokic, who can trump even the best defenses, will get hot tonight and hit the Over for a seventh consecutive game.

Warriors vs Nuggets same-game parlay

Nikola Jokic Over 1.5 threes

Nuggets moneyline

Christian Braun Over 12.5 points

The Warriors defense has fallen off a bit and their offense isn’t getting the same contributions from up and down the roster. Golden State has lost to the Spurs, Nets, Thunder, and Suns over the last 10 days.

History is also on Denver’s side tonight. It's won seven straight against the Dubs dating back to October of 2022. Draymond Green is doubtful as well, which is a major blow to Golden State’s ability to slow down Jokic.

One player who has seen his role increase is Christian Braun. The former Kansas Jayhawk has started all 18 of his appearances for Denver after playing strictly a bench role across his first two NBA seasons. He’s averaging 15.9 PPG on 47% shooting from 3-point territory after averaging just 7.3 points last season. His total is set at just 12.5 tonight and he has hit the Over in points in all but three games so far.

He’s averaging nearly 35 minutes per night as well. Braun hit the Over in points in 13 consecutive outings before scoring 11 against the Clippers on Sunday. This bet holds massive value.
