The Indiana Hoosiers will take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Crossroads Classic.
Indiana has just two losses on the year, and both were extremely close until the final whistle. Meanwhile, Notre Dame has struggled and has a 4-4 record on the year.
Still, Notre Dame just knocked off Kentucky last week and will look to use that win as momentum against Indiana.
Here are our picks and predictions for the crossroads game between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Indiana vs Notre Dame picks and predictions
Our predictions are compiled from the analysis of the spread and total and are indications of where we are leaning for this game.
Our best bet is the play that we like the most for this game, which we would actually put some of our bankroll behind.
Spread analysis
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have already lost to four quality teams this year. Despite beating Kentucky, they haven’t looked all that great this season.
Notre Dame is shooting an effective field goal percentage of 48.6% while also shooting 29.9% from long range on the year. The Fighting Irish are still solid inside, scoring 51.6% of buckets, however, Indiana has held opponents to a 40.1% effective field goal percentage.
That’s because teams are shooting just 38.5% inside the arc against Indiana this season. The Hoosiers are currently the best team in the nation defending the two-point shot. On top of that, they’re limiting offensive rebounds to just 22.7%.
On the other hand, Notre Dame has struggled defensively, holding teams to just a 52.3% effective field goal percentage. The Fighting Irish aren’t a huge threat when it comes to forcing turnovers and are allowing teams to shoot 38.8% from downtown on the season.
That’s going to be helpful, knowing Indiana is shooting 37% from behind the arc this season.
Therefore, I like Indiana to get quality looks and score at a high rate against Notre Dame. The Hoosiers have a very solid defense this season and Notre Dame doesn’t really have the pieces to beat Indiana.
Prediction: Indiana -4 (-110)
Over/Under analysis
I just talked about how great Indiana’s defense has been this year. While Notre Dame can limit turnovers, it’s going to be hard for the Fighting Irish to get quality looks in this game.
The Fighting Irish take a lot of threes and struggle to earn offensive rebounds. There will be plenty of misses and very few second-chance points for Notre Dame. Meanwhile, Indiana is a much better shooting team, but it might not matter in this spot.
I’ll grab the Under here.
Prediction: Under 138.5 (-110)
Best bet
For my best bet, I still like Indiana to cover the small number on a neutral court. Indiana’s defense has been spectacular, and Notre Dame has just been inconsistent this season.
Notre Dame has scored just 68.6 points per game on the year and that number should get lower after facing a very good defensive Indiana team.
If Notre Dame wants to win this game, they’ll have to shoot lights out from long range, something I don’t see happening against Indiana’s perimeter defense.
Pick: Indiana -4 (-110)
