Get ready for a massive day of college basketball, beginning with a Big Ten matchup between the Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin Badgers.

Both groups enter Saturday’s matchup on winning streaks, and my Oregon vs. Wisconsin predictions anticipate both squads piling on the points at the Kohl Center.

Read on for my college basketball picks for February 22.

My analysis
The Wisconsin Badgers are riding a wave of offensive fluidity behind the scoring of senior forward Jon Tonje.

Tonje has posted consecutive 30+ games and had four steals in the Badgers' 21-point home rout over Illinois. While Tonje is the main man in Madison, he’s not alone. He’s joined by two Wisconsin teammates averaging double-digits in scoring, and that is primarily why the Badgers average 84 points at home.

Wisconsin’s stop unit does get stops, but its offense is so good that it is rarely bothered when opponents “go off” against its leaky 3-point defense.

Although the Oregon Ducks' defense has been inconsistent, they lack no shortage of offensive talent. Oregon drains 34% from downtown as the away team and has reached 74+ points in each of its last three road games.

Oregon and Wisconsin each own above-average assist-to-turnover ratios, and neither defense is very aggressive on the perimeter. I’m betting on a high-scoring clash in Madison.

Oregon vs Wisconsin same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 153.5

Oregon +11.5

Wisconsin moneyline

We’re going to attach the Oregon +11.5 alt total alongside a Wisconsin moneyline leg that pays out at nearly 4:1 odds.

Tonje has been money, and he and the Badgers can score the basketball at will. They are explosive enough to come back from large deficits, boast a 12-1 mark at home, and are riding a five-game win streak heading into the weekend.

Winning is one thing, but I don’t believe they’ll beat Oregon by a dozen points. The Ducks have won three straight and are 2-2-0 ATS as the road underdog, meeting a Wisconsin group that’s 7-6-0 ATS as the home favorite.
