This Christmas Day we have three NFL games giving us a real festive present. Roger Goodell might have thrown us a lump of coal with the Denver Broncos at the Los Angeles Rams, the only game in the entire NFL this week featuring two teams have already both been eliminated from the playoffs.
Don’t worry because even though this game might be a dud, we gamblers still have plenty of betting angles to explore. Don’t miss our NFL player prop picks for the Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Rams.

Broncos vs Rams Week 16 props
Jerry Jeudy is here
We’ve been waiting for a Jerry Jeudy breakout for some time and then it happened with the former Alabama man going nuclear against the Chiefs two weeks ago, as he hauled in eight of nine targets for three touchdowns.
We’ve had false dawns with Jeudy before but in recent weeks, he does look like he’s finally managed to get his hands to match the polish of his routes, which have always been good. Last week, he didn’t find the end zone but still got eight targets, bringing in seven of them and averaging 10.9 yards per reception.
The Rams allow an average of 227.1 yards through the air per game, a very middle-of-the-pack number and one you’d expect to be better, given the quality of some of their defensive players. As with all things Rams right now they’re missing some big players, such as Aaron Donald, although most of the injuries are amongst the big boys up front and not the DBs.
At +200, you’re getting great value on Jeudy continuing to see volume and also continuing to showcase the skills that saw him drafted 15th overall in 2020.
Jerry Jeudy Prop: Anytime touchdown (+200)
Higbee streak continues
The Rams' injuries are just horrific. They’re obviously without their QB Matthew Stafford and a number of wideouts, most notably Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson. Even worse is that their backups, like Ben Skowronek, are also injured.
It really is a dark time for this Rams offense, as we’ve seen by Tutu Atwell finally getting meaningful time on the field. Atwell was actually the team's second-most-targeted player last week behind Tyler Higbee.
We’ve expected more from Higbee this year but he hasn’t quite delivered, although he finally got his first touchdown last week against the Packers. Realistically he’s got to be the guy who finds the endzone for the Rams here, he’s a reliable target for whoever is at QB, be that Stafford or the current incumbent Baker Mayfield.
Higbee is a big-bodied guy who will be a red-zone presence for the Rams and could offer a big return at +275 to score an anytime TD.
Tyler Higbee Prop: Anytime touchdown (+275)
Staying upright
With the greatest of respect to the Rams, you might struggle to find the end zone when you’re banking on Tutu Atwell, Van Jefferson, Brandon Powell, and Austin Trammell to lead your receiver corps.
One of the prop bets that really leaps out at me for this game is backing Matt Gay to score Over 1.5 field goals. This isn’t a high-powered offense and if they can move the chains within field goal range then there’s a very good chance they won’t make it further into the red zone all that often.
For that reason we’ll be banking on two or more field goals for the Rams’ veteran kicker.
Matt Gay Prop: Over 1.5 made field goals (+102)
