Commanders vs Saints Predictions and Picks for NFL Week 15

New Orleans' offense will take a conservative approach on Sunday, and that should benefit Alvin Kamara's prop the most as the Saints host the Commanders at Caesars Superdome.

The Washington Commanders are looking to build some momentum as they travel down south to take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.

With starting quarterback Derek Carr sidelined, my Commanders vs. Saints predictions expect New Orleans running back Alvin Kamar to be a big part of the passing game in my best NFL picks for Sunday, December 15.

Commanders vs Saints prediction

My best bet
Alvin Kamara Over 3.5 receptions (-160 at BetMGM)

My analysis

New Orleans Saints backup QB Jake Haener is set to make his first career NFL start on Sunday afternoon, and the game plan should be for him to get rid of the ball quickly.

Running back Alvin Kamara has managed to rack up a handful of catches in every start, and the dual-threat back should be a safety valve for Haener on Sunday afternoon.

Not only has Kamara been great rushing the ball this season, but he’s also been a big part of the Saints passing game. The five-time Pro Bowler leads the team in targets (84), catches (64), and yards (485) through 13 games.

Kamara has hauled in at least four catches in 10 straight games, including five in three contests and at least six in five of them. I’d consider laddering the Saints star at both 5+ and 6+ receptions ahead of this Week 15 clash versus the Washington Commanders

Commanders vs Saints same-game parlay

Alvin Kamara Over 3.5 receptions

Alvin Kamara anytime touchdown

Commanders moneyline

Giving the ball to Kamara may be the only way the Saints find the end zone on Sunday. The Commanders have allowed a running back to reach paydirt in eight of 13 games this season, and this is a great chance for Kamara to get on the board.

Adding the Commanders to win boosts this from +170 to +280 as a contrarian third leg.
