Super Bowl odds line movement this week
Favorite
Buffalo Bills (+1,100 to +800)
The Buffalo Bills had high expectations entering this year and through three weeks, they've looked every bit the part of Super Bowl contender.
The offense is in the upper half of the league in terms of yards per game, but they are scoring a ton — 37.3 points per game to be exact.
Coming off a lopsided 47-10 win at home on Monday Night Football, the Bills saw their Super Bowl odds slashed from +1,100 to +800 which puts them third in the futures market.
Josh Allen had a tremendous game, throwing four touchdown passes, while the defense forced two turnovers.
Up next for the Bills is a stick-measuring game on the road vs. the Baltimore Ravens.
Contenders
Pittsburgh Steelers (+9,000 to +3,300)
As the old saying goes, "defense wins championships" and boy do the Pittsburgh Steelers have an elite defense.
Through three weeks, they rank first inside the Top 5 in all defensive metrics, including first for total yards, points per game, and third-down conversion rate.
If that's not the calling card of a true championship team, I don't know what is.
The biggest question marks are on offense with most bettors waiting for the clock to strike midnight on Justin Fields' ability to lead a football team.
Either way, the Steelers have turned heads through three weeks, and as such their Super Bowl odds have shortened to +3,300.
Seattle Seahawks (+7,500 to +3,300)
Speaking of defenses, the Seattle Seahawks are another team that boasts a Top 5 stop unit.
The difference between them and the Steelers is that their offense is humming right along inside the Top 10 for total yards, passing yards and points per game.
If they can get healthy at the running back position, this Seahawks team will be a tough out for anyone.
A win on MNF against the Detroit Lions will have these odds shortening even further.
Ice cold
Miami Dolphins (+2,100 to +6,500)
This was the year the Miami Dolphins were supposed to take the next step and make a deep run in the postseason.
One Tua Tagovailoa injury later and the Dolphins Super Bowl odds are an afterthought to most bettors.
Nobody knows when (if) Tagovailoa will come back, and their quarterback room doesn't appear to have a Tom Brady lying in wait.
Two straight losses have the Dolphins looking like a fish out of water.
NFL futures expert pick
Seattle Seahawks to win the NFC West (+190)
The Seahawks (3-0) own a two-game lead over the entire division (1-2) and that's enough of a head start to have me considering these juicy odds.
The Seahawks own a defense that sits inside the Top 4 across the board (outside of rush yards allowed), and a Top 10 offense.
Once they get healthy at the runningback opposition, this offense will be tough to handle.
If we look at the competition, the Niners have major injury issues and with news of Christian McCaffrey likely being held out until the later portions of the season, the Seahawks could give themselves enough of a gap where they can coast home at the end.
