It was a winning day (+3.25u) here yesterday as the Habs’ top line keeps scoring and Josh Norris continues to impress with a new address. Today is a nine-game slate where I’m leaning into a trio of correlated point parlays — or stacks to us common folk.

These are my three favorite NHL picks for Thursday, March 13.

Best NHL player prop bets for March 13

Robert Thomas + Pavel Buchnevich Over 0.5 points each (+160 at bet365)

The St. Louis Blues are in a playoff race and have loaded up the top power play. They were running two strong units but moved Brayden Schenn to the second unit while adding Jordan Kyrou and Dylan Holloway to the Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich unit.

This should only increase the point probability for the four skaters. I like both stacks (Kyrou/Holloway is +190), but Thomas has been the more reliable skater.

The center is just two games removed from an 11-game point streak where his point stack with Buchnevich cashed in nine of those 11 games.

It’s a matchup with the Penguins, who have been playing well with two straight wins but have also allowed 40 goals over their previous eight games (1-7 SU).

The goalie situation is not great with Tristan Jarry back on the roster. He's scheduled to start and had a .884 SV% before his recent promotion. The Blues can score tonight and I like it to be the top line with the help of the new power play.

Dylan Cozens + Drake Batherson Over 0.5 points each (+250 at bet365)

Like Josh Norris, Dylan Cozens has gelled well with his new team. The second-line and PP1 forward has pointed in his three games with the Ottawa Senators. This stack also hit at +260 on Tuesday. Cozens is +110 for a point, which is a great bet alone, especially considering how Ottawa has taken a possible nine of 10 points over its last five games.

Boston is due for some regression after beating both Florida teams and entering tonight without key members including defenseman Brandon Carlo. Before the wins, Boston was 1-7 SU and was outscored 26 to 18. Ottawa is a -190 ML favorite tonight, and even the Brady Tkachuk/Tim Stutzle point stack at -110 is worth a look — especially with Tkachuk going nuclear.

Cozens should be around -130 for a point playing second line, PP1, and around 17 minutes a game.

Sam Bennett + Mackie Samoskevich Over 0.5 points each (+210 at bet365)

The Leafs will play their first home game since March 3 and their second since the restart. They've been anything but good defensively as only three other teams have a worse expected goals against/60 over the last 10 games at all strengths than the Buds.

The penalty kill has given up a goal in three straight and Chris Tanev is still questionable after missing six straight. He's also a game-time decision tonight. This Toronto team has gotten away from coach Craig Berube’s ideal defensive system, and the Florida Panthers can put up some goals in a game that could flip from 5.5 to 6.0.

I’m targeting the second line on the road as I usually do. Sam Bennett and Mackie Samoskevich at +200 or better while playing on that first power-play unit is always a buy for me.

Samoskevich has a point in five of his last seven games including a trio of PP points. Bennett has seven points in as many games with this second-line point stack cashing in four of those seven matches for a serious profit.
