Masters week is officially in the rearview and the PGA Tour schedule is returning for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links.
It's another "designated event" which means another top-notch field that includes Masters winner Jon Rahm, defending champion Jordan Spieth, and 13 of the OWGR Top 15.
We break down their chances and more in our RBC Heritage betting preview below, including outright odds, free golf picks, and more.

RBC Heritage picks and predictions
Patrick Cantlay Top 10 (+160 at bet365)
As it’s been discussed already, the decision to place a designated event the week after the Masters is a curious one, and you could see a handful of top players lay an egg this week. However, I don’t expect Patrick Cantlay to be one of them.
While his putting numbers aren’t what they were last summer, Cantlay’s statistical profile is as good as anyone not named Jon Rahm or Scottie Scheffler: he ranks inside the Top 7 in total strokes gained, strokes gained tee-to-green, and strokes gained off-the-tee, while ranking first in Par-5 scoring, third in Par-4 scoring, and second in birdie average.
And while that hasn’t led to a win yet this season, he’s piled up four Top-10 finishes among seven Top 20s in nine starts and now comes to a place where he routinely finds himself in contention.
He lost to Spieth in a playoff last year and also has two other T3 finishes and a T7 in five total starts. Take away a missed cut here in 2021 and you’re looking at an average finish of 3.75 in four tries.
Everything about Cantlay’s form (T14-T9-T19-T4-3 last five starts) combined with his stellar track record here has me thinking he could be staring down his first win of the season on Sunday. Anything in that ballpark gets this bet to home plate — don’t spend too much time overthinking it.
Cam Young finishing position Under 26.5 (-125 at Caesars)
It feels impossible that Cam Young hasn’t won a PGA Tour event yet considering how often he’s in contention. Still chasing that elusive first victory, I think another strong week is on tap this week.
To start, bet365 has a similar market, with Young's line set at 24th or better (-120). Caesars is giving me two extra spots here and I think that’s well worth the five points on the price.
Since the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open (just two starts prior to his breakthrough runner-up at the Genesis), Cam has finished 26th or better in 21 of 31 starts (67.7%), including nine of 12 this season (75%).
He’s also piled up 10 finishes of T3 or better since the start of last season and among those is a T3 here at Harbour Town, where he ranked second in the field in strokes gained tee-to-green and held the lead through 18 holes after an opening-round 63.
He finished T7 at Augusta last week and lost in the final to Sam Burns in the Dell Technologies Match Play two weeks prior. All things considered, I just don’t see a guy as hungry to win as Young taking his foot off the gas.
RBC Heritage Open field and favorites
Expect anything different? Jon Rahm is atop the board (+850) after claiming his fourth win of the season and second career major at the Masters last week. Second on the board is Scottie Scheffler at +900 — the World No. 2 finished T10 at Augusta and has won the WM Phoenix Open and PLAYERS Championship already this season.
Sitting in third is Patrick Cantlay. He fared well at Augusta, recording his third Top 20 in his last five Masters tries. He's also got a stellar track record here, with a runner-up (2022) and three other Top-7 finishes in five tries here at Harbour Town.
Those top guys make up three of the OWGR Top 4, with the next group of Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland, and defending RBC Heritage champion Jordan Spieth all lingering in the 20/1 range. Spieth shot a final-round 66 at Augusta to finish T4, while Hovland (T7) and Morikawa (T10) also put together great showings.
