D.J Funderburk and Cam Hayes both had 11 points Braxton Beverly added 10 points for the Wolfpack (10-9, 6-8 Atlantic Coast Conference), who have won four of their last eight games -- two of those against the Demon Deacons (6-11, 3-11).
NC State had a solid shooting outing, hitting 8 of 19 shots from 3-point range and 14 of 19 from the free-throw line. The team shot 50 percent overall from the field.

The Demon Deacons shot 28 percent (7 of 25) from 3-point range, with Dubose and Jalen Johnson each canning two. Wake Forest was charged with 18 turnovers and lost its third straight game.
The halftime advantage was 51-35 as the Wolfpack built a huge lead, as was the case in the first meeting between the teams on Jan. 27. NC State won that one in Raleigh, 72-67.
A 12-2 run that concluded around the midway mark of the first half put the Wolfpack in control. NC State finished the first half with an 8-2 run.
The Demon Deacons never made a sustained run in the second half after closing within 53-41 on a pair of Mucius baskets in the first two minutes of the second half. Hayes answered with a 3-pointer to launch NC State's 7-0 spurt while Wake Forest was in a four-minute scoring drought.
Wake Forest fell to 0-5 against in-state ACC competition under first-year head coach Steve Forbes. That mark also includes a home blowout loss earlier this week to Duke.
