Denver @ Green Bay preview

Lambeau Field

Last Meeting ( Aug 26, 2017 ) Green Bay 17, Denver 20

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers hope to continue their dominance at home when they host the winless Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Packers have posted a 62-16-1 record in Rodgers' last 79 regular-season starts at Lambeau Field and 12-2-1 in his last 15, while the quarterback ranks first in the NFL since 1970 with a 107.8 passer rating at home.

Green Bay, which is in the midst of a string of three straight home games, ranks second in the league behind New England with a .753 winning percentage (72-23-2) on its own field since 2007. The team reached that mark with last week's 21-16 triumph over Minnesota in which Rodgers, who has yet to throw an interception this season, completed 22-of-34 passes for 209 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Denver remains in search of the first win of the Joe Flacco era after suffering a last-second 16-14 home loss to Chicago last Sunday. Acquired from Baltimore in March, Flacco - a former Super Bowl MVP - was 56-of-81 for 560 yards with two TDs and one interception in his first two games for the Broncos, who are 0-2 for the first time since 1999.

ABOUT THE BRONCOS (0-2): Tackle Garett Bolles will need to cut down on his penalties after being called for holding a career-high four times against the Bears. Bolles, who has been flagged 34 times in as many career starts, has been whistled for holding five times already this year after committing nine of the infractions last season and 10 as a rookie in 2017. Linebacker Todd Davis, who suffered a calf injury at the beginning of training camp, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday for the first time since getting hurt and could make his season debut versus Green Bay.

ABOUT THE PACKERS (2-0): Rodgers enters the contest with 341 career touchdown passes, one behind Hall-of-Famer Fran Tarkenton for ninth place on the all-time list. Aaron Jones has averaged 120 yards from scrimmage over his last four home contests after gaining 150 in the Week 2 win over Minnesota. Davante Adams has made 35 touchdown catches since 2016, which is the second-most in the league in that stretch.

EXTRA POINTS

1. The Packers are 5-0-1 against the Broncos at home and have scored 30-plus points in each victory.

2. Denver's defense has yet to record a sack or a takeaway this season.

3. Green Bay placed S Raven Greene (ankle) on injured reserve and claimed CB Tremon Smith off waivers from Kansas City.

PREDICTION: Packers 33, Broncos 17
