Ige vs Evloev betting preview
Dan "50K" Ige is No. 10 in the featherweight rankings but is coming off back-to-back defeats against Josh Emmett and the "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung.
Between 2018 and 2020, Ige won six straight fights but has gone just 1-3 in his last four, coming up short against top fighters like Emmett, KZ, and Calvin Kattar.
Ige is a well-rounded fighter that combines crisp hands and aggressive boxing in the pocket with impressive wrestling and grappling credentials.
Movsar Evloev broke into the featherweight rankings after a unanimous decision victory against Hakeem Dawodu last June. The 28-year-old now has a perfect 15-0 record in MMA, including five straight wins inside the octagon.
The former M-1 Global Bantamweight champion has a game plan focused on pressure, takedowns, and grappling. However, he has made major strides in his stand-up, picking apart wrestling specialists like Nik Lentz and Mike Grundy in striking exchanges in recent years.

Ige vs Evloev UFC prediction and best bet
Our prediction is compiled from the analysis of the fighters and is an indication of who we are leaning with to win this bout.
Our best bet is the play that we like the most for this fight or where the most value lies, and is where we would put some of our bankroll behind.
Prediction: Evloev to win (-380)
This fight looks like a matchup problem for Ige who needs to get inside the pocket to do damage with his boxing. Evloev is a strong defensive fighter with a high IQ and he does a good job of avoiding damage in close.
Engaging at close range will also allow Evloev to get his hands on Ige where he can use his relentless takedowns and wrestling to control the fight. In Ige's last fight, he was severely out-grappled by Jung which doesn't bode well for his chances against someone like Evloev who has good enough striking to keep him honest.
Evloev should be able to get the win. However, these odds are a bit out of whack given that Ige's recent defeats have all come up against killers and Evloev hasn't faced the same level of competition.
Not to mention, while Evloev hasn't ever lost a fight, he has certainly lost rounds to inferior fighters in the past. We're looking elsewhere to find betting value in this one.
Prediction: Evloev to win (-380 at DraftKings)
Best bet: Evloev by decision (-175)
Given that neither of these guys hasve racked up many finishes lately, it makes sense to expect this fight to go the distance. All five of Evloev's wins in the promotion have come by decision and he tends to slow down fights with his rinse-and-repeat style of wrestling.
Meanwhile, the durable Ige has never been finished in his 20-fight career and has only been knocked down twice in 11 UFC bouts. Expect this fight to go to the judges' cards with Evloev keeping his perfect record intact.
Although the moneyline price for Evloev is too steep, being able to get a much better payout by backing him to win by points is well worth it.
Pick: Evloev by decision (-175 at FanDuel)
