@Anaheim .. Yes it looks like my golf plays will go 5 for 6.

Donald needs to shoot -5 or better on the back 9 and Berger needs to shoot even for a sweep.  I will try to dig into the match ups again tonight but the first round usually has the best lines.  Catching Grace after 4 weeks off turned out nice.  Hopefully I can come up with a play or two for tomorrow.

Tonight we have a big battle in the Big East as the Friars vs the Pirates of Seton Hall. Providence hasnt been themselves lately with Ben Bentil dealing with an ankle injury. They have not covered in their in their last 5 games and now find themselves on the tourney bubble. 

On the other hand Seton Hall is coming off a very crappy showing at St Johns one of witch they should have loss in my mind but pulled of due to a few terrible calls at the end. This team revolves around Mcdonalds all-american Isaiah Whitehead. IF hes not hitting his outside shot like he didnt against St Johns they have trouble scoring especially from outside. 

Seton Hall did win the earlier meeting at Providence this year and I see a big revenge factor coming. Providence is to good of team to not put up a fight in this game for their tournament lives . Ed Cooley in my mind is the best coach in the Big East at getting his team up for must win games and he has his team back to full strength with Dunn and Bentil both going tonight off some rest. 

Seton Hall just isnt as good in my mind and I think Providence gets back on track tonight.

I have much more I could add but I have such an issue posting on this site due to constant lag and having to restart all the time.

William & Mary (-3) @ Elon

The Tribe roll in to Elon on Thursday night having lost three out of four, and most recently suffering an embarrassing defeat at the hands of lowly Drexel. That loss alone gives us some line value as opposed to if they had won that game.

This is a key game for William & Mary as they are in a three-way tie for third place in the CAA. Meanwhile, there's not a whole lot of significance to tonight for Elon.

I really like the back court match up in this game for the Tribe, as they have Terry Tarpey, Omar Prewitt, and Daniel Dixon all scoring in double figures.  Elon doesn't play good enough defense to slow this group down.

William & Mary handled Elon by 22 earlier in the year, and while tonight will be much closer, I still see the Tribe coming out coming out on top with some room to spare.

No $$$$ post for me today...tough board and I've already posted two $$$$ plays for the week so I will save my others for the weekend.  Some general thoughts on Conference USA, one of the non mainstream conferences that Ive followed quite closely this season....

My only $$$$ loss since joining this thread was Middle Tennessee State on Sunday as they just didn't show up and were ripped apart in the second half by a UAB team that came more ready to play than expected.  I would be very surprised if they lose another home game and the -6.5 looks like a pretty reasonable number for them to cover against a below average Western Kentucky team. 

Speaking of UAB, part of the reason I went against the Blazers with a $$$$ play is they were playing their third road game in 10 days and I figured they would be looking ahead to this game, as they play Marshall for first place in the conference.  After watching UAB dismantle a very good MTSU team I expect a similar performance....Marshall and MTSU are comparable teams and Marshall has struggled on the road this season.

UTEP has to be the biggest value play on the board anywhere tonight and if there was ever a time at a +300 money line this would be it.  UTEP is red hot, winners of six in a row and the only thing Old Dominion does well is defend.  Even if ODU does cool the Miners off there's nothing to say their pedestrian attack will be able to pull away in this game.  UTEP has been one of the more inconsistent and mind numbing teams to deal with if you have backed them over the past few years but if they continue their hot shooting they could win this one easy as a big +300 dog.

I was hoping against hope, USC. Alas, it was not to be. I compounded my misery by living up to my screenname at the casino. Let's just say it was a rough night for me. Still, this thread has resulted in many winners, so thanks for curating it!

Tenn Tech -0.5 1st half  $$$$  Morehead St has been one of the big dogs of the Ohio Valley Conf for some time but this is a good spot for Tech who are 5-1ATS  this year avenging a road loss. Tech loves their home court where they are avg a blistering 50.3 FG % and 38.5 pts a half and they are avg 38.1 in conference games to Morehead 31 on the road as well as 31 in Conference play this year.  GL Fellas

Big time game in the colonial conference . Hofstra v . Unc Wilmington. Am a hofstra season ticket holder. Will be surprised if this game turns into a shoot out. On occasion , hofstra has lit it up, but I expect this game to be closely contested as it comes down the stretch. Hofstra has a very short bench. On the other hand, uncw comes  at you in waves. Love the way their coach manages the game. Hofstra starting five is dynamite.  Expect the game to come in about 145. Expect these two teams to be clawing at each other during the last 5 minutes. $$$$ play under 155 1/2 .

Play of the Day $$$$

Louisiana-Monroe -4.5 vs South Alabama

Noticed someone mentioned this game earlier so i know I'm not alone here. La Monroe has certainly turned it around as of late winning 9 out of their last 10 (notable wins against TX Arlington and Ak Little Rock).
This team is cruising and i dont see their 5 game winning streak end tonight against a poor team in South Alabama. Ak Little Rock beat S. Alabama by 31 earlier this month. This team just doesn't have the pieces to win big games. These two teams met a month ago and La Monroe had no problem with them at home winning 100-68. That score itself shows me South Alabama had no chance in keeping up offensively with Monroe and with Monroe playing their best basketball right now, i dont see this game being much different. I like the Warhawks by double digits.

Hi guys.  I appreciate all the kind words.  Sometimes crap happens and it affects me more than it should.  Throwing it behind me and moving on tonight:

$$$$ = Cal (-7) over UCLA

UCLA is not a good road team.  Cal is 16-0 at home.  At this moment, I think Cal might be the best team in the Pac-12.  Since Wallace has come back from injury, Cal has turned into a buzzsaw, especially at home.  Cal hates UCLA and the arena will be frothing to get a struggling UCLA team in there.  This is Cal's second-biggest rival and they just love to pummel UCLA at "their" sport.  Cal has too many offensive weapons for UCLA's often-uninterested defense to handle.  Cal can score from anywhere and no matter what lineup UCLA throws out there, Cal is going to have a personnel advantage pretty much at all times.  I am not sure how much will UCLA will show tonight as I don't think they have a legit shot at the NCAA Tourney unless they win out, which is very unlikely, obviously.  Too much length and athleticism for UCLA to handle tonight and I think Cal jump out to an early lead and take the heart out of the Bruins and then just cruise to an easy double-digit win.
