Why don't you post a frigging play so we could all see how you do all the winning? .I don't believe you could pick your nose. No, wait, then you would be picking a loser! Go back to your other forums, you're not welcome here.

Always on the other side?? AFTER the play? Well if you think you are good at capping (and you may be) then start a positive thread. Post your plays with your reasoning and PROVE it. It sure is easy to say you won a game AFTER it is over.
You are a complete joke. You are the biggest lying fraud on covers right and are extremely pathetic.
My challange to you and your big huge mouth is simple. Since you claim to be so damn amazingly better the Nropp and the rest, PLEASE go start a thread for the games today (not the ones already played) and post your picks,
You don't have the balls do you?
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Neil, I heard Utah State was one of the toughest if THE toughest gym for opposing teams to play in. So UH has a tough game tonight.
I actually watched that CofC at Furman game live on ESPN 3 a few weeks ago. It was a close game until the halfway point of the 2nd half.
Furman couldn't hit their 3s or jumpers after that. CofC were trapping and pressing the whole game and I don't remember if it was zone or man to man after that, but I think it was man to man with a lot of doubling and pressure on the guards.
The CofC guards did get into a lot of foul trouble. Their big man Bajru did a good job in the post.
I lost one of my teasers thanks to Mizzou last night. Lebryan Nash will be a pro. Nothing I can do about that.
West Virginia losing to St Johns in a blowout was shocking. West V is a young team and probably had a letdown from the weekend with Cincy.
UNLV had such a tough time vs Boise State on the road. Good thing Moser kept on rebounding for them in OT and in the 2nd half. Awful shooting night for both teams.
Seems like road teams are playing better on the road now. Getting used to it perhaps.

One thing I saw that night that stood out was that I don't think UNLV is ready to be a top 20 team yet. A key difference between great teams, and good teams, is being able to put away 'lesser' opponents in their own gym. UNLV had a chance to do that, and failed. I know they got the W in the end, but just let Boise get back into the game too easily. Anyway, that's just what I took away from the game.
Any thoughts on Weber State -8.5 tonight? Weber hasn't won a game on the road by DDs yet, and Sac State at home has not lost by DDs. Too many pts to lay on the road? Or does Weber roll?
thx
bk
I think Weber should roll but I'll throw up the comparison to UNLV that you alluded to in your thoughts. They don't have a team that can put teams away. Defense just isn't all the way there, yet if it's going to be and they've been outscoring people.

Any thoughts on Loyola Maramount? I think the return of Drew Viney has clearly shown it can compete with any WCC foe indication of a 4 point loss to Gonzaga. I know St Marys has been on a role, but they did struggle vs a poor San Diego team on the road?
I definitely think their is value there, just scared of St. Mary's size in the paint opening up the outside.

Seems like a low o/u total on UMKC/S UTAH. These two teams seem to light each other up for whatever reason. I'm probably missing something. :shrug
Two of the slowest teams in the Summit, and two of the worst offenses as well. Games in conference play under 67 possessions (which is the average game), these two teams totals have hit:
147
109
122
126
116
137
120
114
What's odd, is that the only two games below 67 possessions that went over this listed 130 both came against IPFW. However, IPFW is one of the faster teams in the conference and also has one of the worst defenses. Some good value in the under as long as both continue to slow the pace.

nropp are you saying it could be a low possession game or based on previous data it will be? and if so would you lean toward the over or under current 111.5 thanks for your help
I think it's fair to say that this game will have few possessions. They've played four ACC games to 59, 56, 59, and 55 possessions.
If you think BC can score, then the over holds value.
If you think BC struggles to get to 40 like me, then the under holds value.
Tough game, little wiggle room, and of course, the pace could pick up in the later stages of the game in a blowout.

Step 1) Go find whoever told you to come over here and ridicule them for doing so.
Step 2) Don't come back.

First of all, I'm not sure the juice on the teasers or how many points, 4, 6, 10, whatever the # may be, but this is just my personal preference.
I'll throw a comparison out there.
In an average football game, each team gets maybe 10-12 possessions. Teasing in football might be worth it b/c you are basically taking a possession or two away from an already low # of possessions.
The average basketball game features 67 possessions per team. Taking six points away bumps that # to 65 possessions, etc...
There is also no real key # in basketball. In football you can use them to get away from key #'s like 3 and 7, etc..., but basketball there is no set pattern.
That may or may not make any sense to you. I just don't see an advantage to doing so. Feels like if you are going to tease the game, then there is some reason that you don't feel comfortable playing it, so the number moving six points makes it better?
Again, just personal opinions. Just doesn't make sense in basketball to me.

Is this not a down year for Utah St? Give me your thoughts plz.
It is a down year for Utah State, but you got a Hawaii team travelling into a tough place to play coming off a big win. As I've mentioned before, the #1 factor in this game is how Hawaii can play in a snail setting.
Utah State hasn't played a single game over 69 possessions this year. Hawaii has played over 69 possessions in 13 of their 19 games so far.
I have no idea how they respond to playing in a slow setting.

I stopped playing basketball teasers when I was ending to Mich St +6 and the score was tied with 1:13 left and I ended up losing still. I was like, fuck this shit.

Its a down year for Utah St, I usually never bet against them @ home but this season value might be had considering how down they are..
What we have here is a fast paced team vs a slow paced team and I think Hawaii can handle it.. Hawaii has been playing very good defense this season 40.2 DEF FG% and 39% on the road. Hawaii's offense has been hot last 7 games and those games were against some very good teams.
Hawaii has been a covering machine beating Xavier as 10pt dogs, Clemson as 7pt dogs, almost beat UNLV, beat Fresno as dogs on road, almost beat Nevada on road as 12pt dogs a team that beat UTAH ST @ home. Utah St has lost 4 out of their last 5 and their confidence is probably not completely there.
Hawaii has won 6 out of their last 9 and 4 of those victories were as dogs, and 2 of the 3 losses were against UNLV and Nevada two teams better than Utah St and lost those games by 3 and 5 respectively.
Utah St is 3-6 on the year vs teams with a winning record
One more thing I must add, Utah St has been consistently getting outrebounded this season.. I think 9.5 or 10 points is simply too much, even if it is @ a very hard place to play..

NRopp ... Thank you.. Are you playing any games.. You're the professor of college basketball handicapping
Of course hes betting games. Hes a gambler right?
.Hes probably just tired of putting his ass on the line with picks only to get idiots come into this thread and post stupid crap and insult him. This way, he can impart his knowledge and offer insight and advice without the stress of posting picks.
As long as he is willing to help the forum, who cares if he posts his own picks or not.
I am appreciative of whatever he wishes to share - I dont have the time to know as much hoops as him so will take whatever hes willing to give back.
Thanks nropp
