They also had 2 other very good players in Dekker and Gasser. They just had way more talent. The only reason this team is this far is because they play smart and play good defense. But the lack of talent is there. You guys all talking about the Florida Vandy loss? Wiscy lost at home to Iowa and Northwestern! LOL. Let's be fair now. The Vandy loss wasn't great but that was on a neutral court and they gave Kentucky issues. And Florida just couldn't hit a shot that game. It happens.
I do think Wisconsin can win tonight just because they are a lucky team. They get in close games inside 2 min and they have somewhat of an advantage there. But if you look at Florida in terms of "game control" this year they have had more decisive victories and their losses have all been close. Wiscy has been blown out several times. Also, look at Purdue last night. That's what the Big Ten has to offer? South Carolina meanwhile beat Duke. Arkansas almost beat NC. The SEC may be the underrated conference here.
Wisconsin should not have won last game. Down 7 with 5 min left and Nova choked. You don't put good money on sitting ducks in the tournament at near even pickem lines. Wiscy is a sitting duck make no mistake about it. This team has no shot at winning a title. They could get lucky and win a couple more games in coin flip spots. Wouldn't surprise me. They just got no edge in this game physically. And they really aren't a good shooting team. They get hot sometimes but they are far worse than 2 years ago.
I haven't had a great tournament. But trust me I know this Wisconsin team. If they're getting 4 and you want to take them whatever okay. 1.5? The only way to play this is Florida. In fact, the only thing that makes me think Wisconsin wins is me putting on a hex. Don't forget Wiscy was only up like 3-4 vs VT in the first round. You're essentially betting on them getting lucky inside of 2 min which is just not smart. Do you really see Wiscy getting up 9-10 in this one? I just can't.

I suppose maybe Wiscy can just fugly it up so much and it frustrates Florida, but they just played Virginia who is just like Wisconsin basically and in my opinion evenly matched. Virginia is the top defensive team out there.
Also, Brandon Lang the notorious loser is on Wiscy tonight. That's never a good thing.
