Forcing an interception is one thing, but that pick came after a bounce on a dude's ankle....Next thing you're going to tell me that lucky behind grab by Nebraska against Mizzou that bounced off a dude's leg was a brilliant pass....

FSU is a good team but it's tough to say they're one of the best with that schedule. If Bama had the same schedule they most likely wreck everyone the same.

And yes, three dynamic RBs in Portis, Gore, McGahee....yes McGahee was 3rd string

I guess having the VT player drop the 2 pt conversion was brilliant defense from Miami that year, as well.....

I better stop or Najeh Davenport will take a crap in my closet....

You're acting like BC had the game won, they still had to score...which so happens they did not.

At least we didn't schedule a joke of a OOC schedule...seriously Idaho?Nevada? Bethune?

VT was Miami's 3rd straight Top 15 opponeent, called getting exhausted, sorry we didn't schedule freaking Idaho to get some rest.

I'm just saying given how much talent that Miami team had....they should never of been in a position where BC even had a chance to win with less than 2 minutes to play....

The OOC schedule is horrid, but it's typically propped up by playing UF...Unfortunately, the gators suck donkey dung...No one will complain about the out of conference schedule next year when FSU opens up with OK State in Dallas. The 2015 out of conference schedule is complete garbage, hopefully they can drop texas state or one of the other complete sh*t teams....

HEY XLR8!!!!...I speak with over 30 years experience in watching, writing about, capping and gambling on college sports....You must have listened to the same radio broadcast I did today as a smack weasel jock was saying that this was the greatest college team of all time!!..NOW REALLY?...Tons of listeners disagreed....And here for what it's worth, I disagree too....Their one true trashing was Clemson...All the others were cakewalk teams....I saw them live in PITTSBURGH...They are and were awesome, but to jump on this and state what you are dreaming is pure conjecture and only time will tell....And that may be in a month....I have not talked to a single friend anywhere who doesn't like FSU in the title game...And you know what that means...DO YOU????....The line started at 7.5 and is now at 9, going up....I'll wait till it's 10 or so and POUND AUBURN BIGGGGGGG!!!!....Their coach of the year and staff will be very prepared to give Winston, who will win the Heisman and be basking in total glory, and the rest of the SEMINOLES a complete hysterectomy...This kid is only a freshman====TOO MUCH HYPE FOR HIM TO HANDLE!!!....BE PREPARED!!!!....Who was the greatest college FB TEAM EVER?,....I TOTALLY AGREE WITH HURRICANE AND I'M FROM THE NORTH!!!!

Why would I compare stats side by side? FSU played a much worse schedule..FACT. As of the polls right now FSU has faced 2 ranked teams...a joke.

You literally played ZERO quality teams. Clemson's best win is a 8-4 Georgia team that got blasted by South Carolina.

So your best win is a two loss team that's best win was 8-4 Georgia, congrats.

FSU doesn't hold 2001 Miami's jockstrap.

FSU has no one as good as Ed Reed, Vilma, DJ Williams, McDougle. We had Sean Taylor and Vince Wilfork as freaking backups.

Can't call em the best ever yet they still have to do a couple of things. that 01 Miami was awesome and regarded as the best ever because of all the NFL success from that one team. But this FSU team is completely stacked also we can make that comparison down the road.
But first FSU needs to beat the brakes off of Auburn like Miami did Nebraska (even though it should have been Texas or Oregon) in winning the national title,  then we need to see what kind of success these players have in the NFL.

an 8-4 Virginia tech team and an 11-1 Nebraska Team who lost their conference championship team by 62-30 or something like that!

So the best 2 opponents FSU will face this year:
Clemson (who is better than that 2000 Va Tech team)
Auburn (who is better than that 2000 Nebraska Team)

So...since u BARELY beat VaTech (by 2 points on the Road)
and we absolutely DESTROYED Clemson in Death valley

And when we destroy Auburn the FACTS will be clear.....

How is Clemson better than that VT team, how are even comparing the 2 you twat, that VT also had a much tougher schedule than this Clemson team. Clemson lost to the only 2 ranked teams there going to play in FSU and South Carolina.

How is Auburn better than Nebraska?

Auburn barely beat an average Miss State team on a late TD, beat Georgia by a fluke TD, crushed by a average LSU team, fluke TD against Bama.

Congrats at least admit FSU only played 1 decent team so far, thanks for proving my point of what a joke schedule FSU played. I can name 10 teams who go undefeated through FSU's horrendous schedule

Hurricane hauk, 2001 miami was amazing. As good a team and maybe the best ever. I say its 95 nebraska but im willing to give it to miami. However the argument to me that never makes sense is the opponents that you play that are ranked by seasons end or no longer ranked. If i team was ranked highly when you played them thats what they were. If they fall off not your fault. In college football, basically  once you lose you have zero to play for. Dont give me this bowl game or conf title stuff, your likely not winning a title so i dont buy that these teams give a crap after a loss

If you want to say best ever as far as point difference /game,,you better go back in the record books a little further.  Mich in 1901  was 11-0  and outscored their opp.  by 550-0  ,they shutout ever single team,,thats an avg of 50-0 /game. the next yr they were 11-0 and outscored teams 644-12.  I remember looking at these and there are a few others from the early days that are just unbelievable numbers. This yrs FSU team ranks right up there though. I have always liked FSU even when I used to live in MN during the Bowden days,,I just don't see a blowout in this game. I just hope for a great game to watch,just glad Ohio State didn't get there to get stomped
