Great points by all, boom, train, ksu, wheels...my only contribution?

why play this game?  Just sit back and watch!  there are a million reasons why each team is going to win/cover...seems better to just make it a no play and enjoy the show.  Or you can go against highly arguably the BEST team in the nation or arguably the best coach in the game as a thursday home dog.

If I was to play, like boom hints at, KS ML small for sheets and giggles.  Or crazier like train, go for a middle.

just my thoughts....but we all know we are action junkies so we'll all bet this game lol.

Yeah and everybody talked last week about how tough of place Lubbock was gonna be for a SEC team too. And we know how that turned out. I think Auburn rolls in this game. It may be still within a TD at half but Auburn will pull away in the 2nd half.

I said it once before but ill go ahead and toss my 2 cents in once more:

I jumped on Auburn at -9. Auburn is in a position where it must solidify that they are for real and they know that they cant slip against a team whos gonna get up for them. At the end of the day the line seems right but K-State just isn't dynamic enough to beat an SEC team in this position. I figure they'll coiver.
K-State has also yet to be tested by a team as solid as Auburn. And Ill admit im a sucker for SEC teams (SOLID SEC teams, mind you) on the road as it usually affects the line even it its slightly so (ie Arkansas last week even though that was just a gift lol).

My 2 cents..
Only place K.State has an advantage in this game is home field.
K.State emotion should last thru the first half then reality sets in and Auburn pulls away.
Gus is the better coach right now with the better personnel.
Auburn put up 34 against FSU last year, they will put up at least 40 and I believe they are a better team this year.
Just don't see K.State keeping up with that..
Yes upsets happen and if the turnover bug, sloppy play, or if Murphy sneaks into the Auburn locker room then that is a factor nobody can handicap.
Other wise if both team play their A game Auburn wins and covers..

I see the total in the low 60s as well
Gus is a covering machine as well.Even at Ark St he covered.

This game will be like that of Auburn-Arkansas first week. K State will hang for 3 quarters but Auburn's athleticism, talent, and speed on offense and defense will pull away and win by 2 td's or more.

Take Auburn to cover the points for two big reasons.

1) what a better time to gain the respect of everyone in the country. Out of every team in the top 10 this auburn team is least respected/talked about. No team in the country is more talented and better coached on the offensive side of the ball than Auburn. This team is well rested and ready to prove a point.

2) auburn beat a very well running Arkansas team by more than 2 Tds. That Arkansas team has the biggest o-line in the country not to mention 2 top10 rbs in the backfield. With this being said they allowed 130 rushing yards in the first half. Trouble stopping the run you would think? Not so fast! auburn only allowed 50 total yards in the second half and dominated the both sides of the lines. BIG factory in this game is defensive line depth for Auburn. Playing on the road will not be a factory. Auburn is bread from the SEC and this crowd will not cause a problem to this veteran team.

X-factor will be. D'haquille Williams

Hard cold truth that too many are over-looking... Snyder may be the G.O.A.T.... but (1) he's not the greatest right now, and (2) he doesn't have the players he needs to keep his team in this game... the people who think K St. can win this game are pinning their hopes almost exclusively on the fact that the Thursday night home dog can overcome a talent disparity that ranges from the #1 team in all of CFB down to a top 25 level team... it just doesn't work that way!

 #1 piece of info in this thread: Geppetto-"Auburn has covered the spread 13 straight times".  Very difficult to buck that trend.

Heres my nickel's worth.

So far Auburn has got 9 rushing td's ,3 receiving td's and 1 interception td. They have gave up 2 rushing td's and 2 receiving td's. Against Arkansas and San Jose St

Ksnsas St has got 8 rushing td's and 3 receiving td's . They have gave up 3 rushing td's , 2 receiving td's, and 1 punt return td.This was against S.F.Austin and Iowa St.  Also 4 rushing td's and 3 receiving td's were against S.F. Austin .

And just for the hell of it :
 Auburn went from 3 wins and 9 losses in 2012 to 12 wins and 2 losses last season.

Kansas St went from 11 wins and 2 losses in 2012 to 8 wins and 5 losses last year.

I guess go with the improved team. Auburn

Ok! we get that it isn't a short week already from page 1. Everyone has great points on both sides but I am in agreement with playing in Manhattan on Thursday night as a favorite rarely ever comes out with the favorite covering. 
Personally, I believe that auburn will pull away late and k st will do their damnedest to slow the game down and probably will. 
I will take K St first half and probably auburn 2nd depending on how the game looks at that point. If auburn gets to 40, they cover. Just not sure if Snyder is going to allow that to happen.

Reminds me of Ducks/WildCats bowl game. 35-17 Ducks and the under.
Mite be the same here, Tigers and the under.
According to the bowl games: Tigers 3pts better than Ducks.
Just a little history, If u dont know ur history, then ur bound to repeat it.
Just because ppl on covers are on the tigers doesn't always spell doom, remember week 1 ol'miss/bsu?
I have much more respect for the Tigers QB now than ever B4.
I need more than Bill Snyder to take K st.
I would rather watch this game than wager on it, sorry.
