Don't over-react to how a team closed out their regular season, particularly if they ended with a loss (or two, or three). Ending
the regular season on a loss, or even several losses, is a positive
motivational factor as a team prepares for bowl season. At the same
time, a loss or a string of losses creates extra pointspread value for
that same team. Put those two factors together, and voila -- you're
looking at a strong recipe for bowl betting success -- extra motivation
and extra line value." - Covers Expert and professional handicapper Ted

Thanks for all your hard work this season and thanks for sharing all your insight. There are some really good cappers on this site whose insight I value but it takes so long to filter through all the trash posted on this board. This has been such a profitable season for me because of guys like you, nos, pimpdaddy, and captain hawaiian. You guys are the men. I was on the other side on the Fla-Bama game but I felt bad for you after you lost the bet and everyone flips out. Jeez you miss one game and have an 81% hit rate with your specials and people still flip out. Oh and you lost the game by 1! It wasn't like it was a blowout and a terrible pick. Anyways I had a few questions for you:
1. I am assuming all these are bibendi specials correct?
2. How do you feel about these games. I will list how strongly I feel about them from top to bottom. I would just like some insight here.
Georgia - 7 vs MSU
USC -9.5 vs PSU
CAL -7 vs Miami
FSU -5 vs Wisconsin
WVU 0 vs UNC
Kansas - 10 vs Minny
Iowa - 3 vs So Car
Oregon St - 3 vs Pitt
I feel very confident about Georgia. I think that is the easiest pick of the bowl season. MSU has been killed by the only 2 teams they played this yr in Penn St and OSU. Their offense is one dimensional and Georgia can stop their run game because its a prostyle offense with an avg OL. Wtachout for Stafford and Moreno to have huge days as MSU's D stinks and they are playing to make big impressions for NFL scouts in their last college game. USC I feel very confident in as well. Pete Carroll is unreal at prepraing his team for bowl games. USC is the best college defense ever and PSU's offense was very pedestrain vs OSU. This game feels similar to Iliinois last yr who they pounded as well. Juice and Clark are very similar at QB and Royster is no Mendenhall. I also think USC's O is being shit on way too much and they are going to come out and have a complete game. Too much speed for PSU.
3. Is it true that historically underdogs play very well in the bowl games when they are from lower conferences and are playing power conferences or upper echelon teams?
4. Do you consider the motivation factor for teams in bowl games?

And no disrespect to you bro but I disagree with the idea that you cant cap with the teams state of mind involved. This is COLLEGE football where emotion can turn David in to Goliath and vice versa. I have seen it too many times before.Bol to all
No disrespect to you either but please start your own thread with this type of informationI dont mind 1 post but 5 is excessive

Georgia - 7 vs MSU-Lean Georgia
USC -9.5 vs PSU-Lean USC
CAL -7 vs Miami-Lean Miami
FSU -5 vs Wisconsin-no idea

Iowa - 3 vs So Car-Iowa
Oregon St - 3 vs Pitt-Pitt
Lot of chalk and thats why I'm not playing them. I usually start with the full slate and find my dogs first. Then I go with my strongest favorites. Helps me out.

I have nothing to support this. It seems like this is not the case though. We just always hear about when the cinderella wins
4. Do you consider the motivation factor for teams in bowl games?
I cap a game based on several factors. Motivation is a small factor but it is almost impossible to cap for. Who really knows which team is going to be more motivated than the other. If I see something that suggests a team will be though, then I factor that into my decision making.

It all depends ilima. Some lines will cross a significant number and I wouldnt play them. While VT fluctuation between +2.5 and a pk would not affect my decision.

I watched Buffalo this year and they been real good as the Underdogs. The Coach has proved that he is a well rounded coach and that Beat down in the Chamionship game proved that Buffalo was a overall good team. They snapped Ball st Streak. They have a good 2ndary that loves to come up to the line and hit. Uconn QB has to be the big problem for uConn. If This kid trails its real tough for him to Air it out. He throws INT in the redzone or he just throws it up. I look for Turner Gil to have a game plan ready for Uconn. Uconn Def has the edge in the backfield with there allStart Donald Brown. Buffalo has a good RB a QB that has a Great WR. I just think this game will be closer and Buffalo Might take this with an upset. Uconn Was the team early in the year but I saw this team slowly loose it. Def liking the Points in this match up. Thanks for all the info Bendi. BOL this bowl season.

Uconn defense will get the best of the BUFF offense. This will be a defensive dominating game by the Huskies where BUFF will be trailing and not able to come back like the other games.
I see Huskies will WIN this game by 10 points or more
The first and greatest victory is to conquer self
