And from what I am seeing.. GT is catching 8 or more???
This game screams FG either way, esp the way Tech plays early in the season
The way G.T plays early??? Explain I always view G.T as a team who shoots out the gate blowing teams out and fades down the stretch. Thats why I think there catching V.T at a good time.
Satnight BTW... whats up man.
You ready for another season long challenge? Damn that was a great season long challenge. One of the best I've been apart of .

7 games would be a great season for my Tigers. SC,UF,Bama and Florida I have already chalked up as losses. Georgia, AZ St and @UCF are all gonna be super tough. Hell, Kentucky, Cuse and Vandy are gonna be hard as hell too. If they could some how start the season 3-0 they may have a chance at 8 wins, but if UGA beats them I think the downward spiral starts.
Josey is irreplaceable. He was a game changer. They also lack wr talent imo. There defense is gonna have to play out of their minds to keep some of these games close.
BOOM
I Totally agree about Josey. Great Back. I'm not knocking Mizz at all. I think this is a solid program.

I dont disagree they could win all those games, but I seriously doubt they do win them all as I think they could easily lose all of those games as well.

Should have been more specific.. esp. the way VT* plays in the beginning..
I'll be all over the Jackets if that stays above 7..
Life's good- getting married in couple months.. putting in some time, looking at some mags.. should be another profitable season..
Challenge was nasty good.. should be another fun one

My take on the guy is he would be be great playing that hybrid type nickle guy... you know blitz him, he can stop the running game. But one thing i can guarantee you is he is NO NFL CB. he will get beat deep not a little, but alot. Good Player. But in the wrong position IMO
Uggggggm
The Bills already have Leodis Burned Toast Mckelvin -- who could not cover my 88 Year Old uncle on a fly pattern..
Hoping you are wrong for once ...
.
On a side note ( bet the Bills Over 7 wins if you can get something better than the -150 thats out there ) very nice off season adding a pass rush
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

at MZ beating AL. AL has a bye week before MZ. No way they beat AL. Only thing MZ will be able to do against AL is run some underneath crossing routes against our linebackers. However that is assuming Franklin has enough time to read the defense when he drops back. They will have no running game and will get killed against our Oline on defense.

Kentucky - I think it's safe to say Joker Phillips might be on the hot seat. What bought him some time was winning vs Tennessee last season, which was shocking to be honest. If im being honest I dont think things get much better this year. The offense just doesn't have an identity. Last year when I first watched these guys play vs W. Kentucky I really thought they were out played and should have lost the game. They pretty much sucked all year and it never got any better. Newton is just awful and should never be allowed to throw a forward pass again, ever. Defensively these guys were decent last year and if it wasn't for a pathetic offense, they would have been much better. This year, that defense is gone. I dont think they have near the talent and experience to compare with from last year. I think Phillips might be a good guy but being a good guy will get you fired, ask Tommy Bowden. But the more I think about it the more I realize that hell, this is Kentucky. They really dont give a shit about football. They care about that round ball stuff. Overall, the schedule is tough if your name is Kentucky. @ Ville @ Florida, S.C ,@ Arkansas, Georgia, Mizz, probably Vandy and Tennessee all are straight up losses if you ask me. I think 3 - 9 sounds right. Why? It's the typical OOC SEC schedule....you know. Kent s.t, WKU and Samford.

Double up - Sorry man. For your bills sake I hope he turns out much better in coverage then im giving him credit for. But I watched this guy closely for 3 years and I know that he really is a LB / maybe safety playing in the wrong position.
Rhslurve - Stop with the idiotic shit. Dont come in here with your 3 teeth and beat your chest and tell us how your bias mind works. Quit drinking the Jim Jones koolaid and take a chill pill..... Hint: Bama is not going undefeated.... i know that's shocking.... But sit down and take that in for a minute.

slurve for the record lets establish this when everybody on this site picked LSU to beat you the 2nd time I stayed with Bama my nat'l title pick. I get ridiculed for it laughed at. I said they'd win 21-10. I was wrong they won 21-0I notice a lot of you bama fans are very sensitive
Do you remember the last title you won slurve? Where you lost 3 games? 1 in a city named columbia. Missouri plays in a city named columbia. You lost a ton on defense. I see you losing to LSU Arkansas and Mizzou. We're gonna find out for sure, Besides slurve why are you worried about what i say.
A different sport here but a lot of Bama fans imo were damn insulting to Anthony Grant. saying he did the right hting suspending those players. DUH!! They broke the rules. Next time you want to rip me remember that i stayed with bama when everyone laughed at me. Alabama fans are very sensitive

Man, poor Kentucky_they seemed to be the team to fade last year, consistent even, except against TN...somehow
For some reason watching them play reminded me of Indiana, and Indiana reminded me of them_I don't know. Maybe they have a hidden gem somewhere on that roster? lol

Vandy - I m gonna say it. I didnt think James Franklin was the best choice at first. I was wrong. The guy has done something that I thought couldn't ever happen at Vandy. Brought Life. Vandy actually had respect from their opponents last year. I think these guys did actually catch lightning in the bottle, so to speak. Finishing 6-6 at Vandy is catching lightning in a bottle if you know what I mean. When I look at this team I want to really believe that they have a shot at a winning season. Thing is, they actually have the experience and talent to do it. Question is how or will Rodgers play better? He has weapons. Stacy is a beast, the guy is like a human bowling ball that once he gets moving forward he's hard to stop. I like the receiving corp and think Boyd will have a breakout year for the commodores. He is a legit 6'4 6'5 guy who can " go up and get it ". They do lose some experience on the OL and that in itself could hurt the continuity or momentum they had from last season. Defensively I look for a drop off. I think they lose their 3 best defensive players from last season and certainly the best cover guy in Casey Hayward. The schedule isn't kind to this group and again could be there undoing. The open with S.C ( which they always play tough ) then @ northwestern skip a week then go @ Georgia and @ Missouri then home to Florida and Auburn. That's a tough stretch no matter who you are. Overall the experience along with the difficult schedule makes me believe that we could be looking at yet again another 6-6 team. But I will say this, I will be rooting for these guys, why? Because there Vandy.

Tennessee - This is a team that the East needs to watch out for. I m about to tell you guys something that most don't know. Tyler Bray is the BEST QB in the SEC. The Best. If he has a good year and I think he will, he might overtake Matt Barkley for the first QB taken if he opts to go to the NFL. The Kid has some serious talent and really nice weapons. Justin Hunter and Da'Rick Rodgers are two big time receivers. I think their the 3rd best WR Combo in the country right behind Watkins and Hopkins at Clemson and Woods and Lee from Socal. Here is a name that is under the radar but will have a huge breakout season. Marlin Lane. The Guy will burst out of no where and the college football world will say, where did this guy come from? I think we can make a good argument that Tennessee's offense may be as good as Arkansas or better. In this conference I would rank them 1 and 2 and neither a clear cut #1. There a top 15 offense nationally IMO. Defensively this is where things have looked differently since Fulmer left. These guys just dont have that great defense that we use to see with Tennessee. They have plenty of talent and experience returning, but does that make them better? Not sure it does. I do know that I project them to be better and that could be enough to be the difference in winning 2 or 3 more games. The schedule isn't the worst I seen but certainly not the easiest. The opening game with NCST should be a great game and the winner of that game really takes off and has a pretty good year IMO. Florida @ Home is a tough game obviously but a game they can win. @ Georgia, Alabama and @ S.C are all tough games. If they can go 2 - 1 in those games I think Tennessee will do exactly what I think they can, win maybe 9 games. I tell you one thing. If Florida's and Georgia's ( more so Georgia ) schedule wasn't completely pathetic, I would say Tennessee has a decent shot at winning the EAST.

Wilson is very good. I think he has a distinct weakness tho that people dont recognize.
When most ( good ) QB's....and we will label him as a good QB for conversation sake. When most good QB's start to get more pressure they step up in the pocket and or either check down to hot routes or backs out of the back field. If you go and watch the film on Wilson he has a tendency to get rattled a little. When DC start to send one or more then they can block, he doesn't step up in the pocket actually if you watch him closely DC are sending pressure a few times and then the guy starts to feel pressure that's not even there. QB coaches will tell you dont let the " ghost " rattle you.
Basically, Ive see Wilson get popped once or twice and then the guy will think pressure is their when in reality its not. What happens then? Quick decisions and not going through his proper reads. Int's ? Fumbles? 3 and outs?

LSU - As most of you know Im not a Les Miles guy. I think he is a moron who happens to coach at a school that a trained chimpanzee could win at. Don't give the shit about look at what he's done or accomplished, I don't give a shit. The guy is a idiot who doesn't know shit and when he's interviewed he acts if he himself is surprised to see that he's a head football coach. The mad hatter, let's leave it at that. Offensively this team is better. Want to know how? Jordan Jefferson is gone, simple as that. I thought that clown was just that his entire career, a clown. Zach Mettenberger is going to be a pretty good QB. I like his size and he's a QB. Something LSU just hasn't had in awhile. The back field is loaded. May be one of the best in the country. Hillard IMO will emerge as the " guy ". Before the season is over. The OL is the Rock of this offense. There big and physical and should be an absolute wrecking crew for these running backs. LSU will run the ball alot this year to help rookie the first year QB. They will need Mettenberger to make some plays at QB as any team does, but it sure does help when you have this physical down hill running game the LSU has. Defensively like Alabama I think this group is good, but not as good as last years team. The Honey Badger had a great year ( had no business at the Heisman ceremony ) but I think the guy is a little overrated. He will make plays but lets be honest here. The guy really isn't that good in coverage. He is a guy if you watch him closely that will get beat a good bit. His biggest strength is making plays, like stripping the ball, going for the big play or returning punts. Eric Reed is the best defensive player on this team if you ask me. Matter of fact I will guarantee you all something real quick here, Eric Reed goes higher in the NFL draft. Overall this team again will be right there at the end of the season cause of all this talent. Plus the fact there OOC is a joke excluding the Washington game. @ Florida @ Arkansas are tough road games and the home game vs Alabama will obviously be a challenge, but as of this moment I think LSU has the edge. Home field advantage means so much in college football. IMO this group can go 12-0 and also on the same hand, they could lose 3 games.

it could happen I think the talent level at both LSU and Alabama is crazy good.
Im not ready to make my NC prediction just yet. Still thinking
Something tells me maybe the SEC misses the championship game this season .... Would be a real shocker but Bama could lose 2+ and Maybe LSU's offense sputters and cost them 2+ as well .... But seriously think one of them gets there 85%+ of the time ....
Maybe USC vs
Chokelahoma
ACC Champ
Wisconsin

Alabama - First off I want to say that for a more in depth analysis of Alabama you will have to wait for Jimmy's breakdown whenever he decides to do it. Last year I said in my breakdown that we were about to witness the greatest defense ever in college football top to bottom. I think Alabama proved that to be true. This year IMO I dont think were gonna see anything like what we saw last season. Now keep in mind, this is still gonna be a great defense. Understand what Im saying here, There better than about 95% of most defenses in the country. Im a huge believer in two things, depth and experience. Alabama has depth and plenty of it, I think the difference between this team and last years team is simply the experience factor. I understand that alot of the projected starters have playing experience im basing what I saying on what they actually lost. Im sorry, you cant lose all that leadership and 1st round talent and pick right back up. Thats not how it woks. This group will come into their own by mid season but make no mistake about it this group needs to gel before we crown them the best defense in America just yet. I love the offense this year. I think that A.J may have a pretty good season depending on how much saban allows this offense to " open " up. Their are questions that need to be answered about this team no question about it. But conventional wisdom says saban can figure out the right combination. Combination is key with any football team and Saban does a great job in finding just that. Obviously there are three games that will define Alabama's season. Michigan, @ Arkansas and @ LSU. I personally think Michigan will give Alabama a much harder time then most think ( or really just Alabama fans ) Does that mean Michigan will win? Im not saying that, im just pointing out the fact that Denard is good enough to effect a " less experienced " defense. The game @ Arkansas will be a huge test. If Petrino were still there I might give the edge to Arkansas, but king dumb ass is their ( John L Smith ) So now I obviously give the edge back to Bama. Then the game in Baton Rouge. Right now I think LSU has a slight edge but that could certainly change once this team has had time to gel together. Overall my thoughts on this team is that they will not win the NC but as most great teams are, they will be in the conversation.
