yeah Georgia will be a wait and see team for me .. If they fall behind in Stillwater Ok. things could get Ugly Fast ... OSU is nto that good vs the Run and the Dawgs should get some easy running room...  The Over should be a Great Play if it is around 60...

Richt does have alot of talent to work with ..9-3 at Best ... 7-5 at worst ... I will split the Difference at go 8-4...

I would not be shocked to see Logan Gray steal the Job from Cox at some Point ....

But Beating both Oklahoma and Texas seems like a giant Task ...

I do agree ... I Like OSU week 1 ... but if Georgia is getting 4.5+ I would have to take the Dawgs ATS... The BIG 12 plays little or no Defense and If Georgia does not fall behind early in Stillwater they could easily Man Handle the Cowboys

That Being Said Robinson could go Nutz and throw for 400+ if the Georgia Pass ruush isnt there ....

QB Christian Ponder had a Decent Season in 2008.....Throwing for 2006 Yards  55%  14 TD's and 13 Ints ... Ponder had the 4th highest Rushing total for a QB in FSU History 423 Yards 4 TD's ... If Christian is to take a step forward in 2009 he will need to cut down the INts in Big Games throwing 2+ Ints in 4 Games ...

RB   FSU jumped from 91st in 2007 to 33rd in 2008 (Rushing)
 Jermaine Thomas had flashes of greatness in his Fr. year rushing for 7.0 YPC on 69 Carries .Thomas has been Limited suffering an Hip Flexor injury in the Spring ...
230+ LB  Marcus Sims PS#14  fumbled in the Ga Tech going for the go ahead score and barley saw the field in the 2nd half of the season...

I think you can lock in a L @ NC.

And I will be wating to see how they play the 1st couple of games, but I think they either lose @ BYU, or, like I said about them before, USF is a dangerous game. I am waiting to really see how their D plays this yr though. And this is not the CrimiNoles of old, reloading on D will not be that easy. Especially that Rhodes Scholar Rolle. Where's he from again Double

Funny you should say NJ ... I keep seeing players from there all over every teams  Spring Prospectus... Made me laugh after you brought that up earlier ...

Yeah the FSU schedule is really hard .... Really I should have had the BYU and USF games as Coin Flips.... Traveling to Provo won't be easy  

by the Way I Love North Carolina this year Maybe 10-2 ???

I think they will prob lose either Pitt or WF. I hope they get by Pitt, cause I would like them to be overpriced coming into ACC play for a hard 3 game stretch that they could go from 5-0 to 5-3

save your $ then ......no way 7-6 SEC team vs 6-7 ACC team they beat 34-0 LY (with about same # of starters back) will be close to a TD dog.....I will be shocked if it gets over 3'.....
remarkable run by wolfpack LAST YEAR.....ended in defeat ...(no asterisk > just an L)
ol ball coach lost team LAST YEAR no doubt.....D will be very good and he will have them ready.....
VALUE....will not be with wolfpack (esp early) and therefore probably poor choice as "play on" team  IMO......many (including Steele) declared them possibly best team in ACC at reg seasons end... .??

Yeah Russell Wilson is the key he didnt play the SC game last year and they were winning th Bowl Game  17-6 at Half over Rutgers and then lost with Wilson watching from the Sidelines ...

This year the Pack only have 4 Road games ... anything less than 7-5 would be Horrible IMO

You could be spot on ... But 8 Wins seems likely to me ...

But ATS i think they should be GOLD in these 5  Games

South Carolina --  Revenge game and The Cocks look weak to me this season

Pittsburgh   O'Brien could out Coach Wanny if he was  Blind Drunk

at Wake Forest  +4.5 or more ... beat them last year and Wake shoudl slip a little this year

at BC  if catching 6.5+

Maryland  if Laying less than 7

They will need to play Huge in the ACC games , but I really think Wilson is a Superstar and will be the Difference  ...

You are right the 3 first ACC Road Games are tuff sledding

how is SC going to score vs. NCST? I am not saying the wolfpack are a shutdown D, but I still do not see the great offensive power for the Ol ball coach. 

I will say it is going to be interesting to see how Baker does running the ball now that he is the man. Can he handle the burden. But, after watching last yr bowl game, it seems a running game was the way to beat SC.

Also have to take a bowl game, who was against one of the hottest teams in the nation, taking a lead into HF and coming out without your QB into consideration.

Double- again, yeah, they might not lose all 3, but I expect at least 2 losses, but I think they should be getting pts so might be a good ATS run for them.

Florida State is a total coin flip.  They have huge internal problems with the coaching staff.  OC and "coach in waiting" Fisher and DC Andrews are at the point of punching it out.  Bowden lost control of this team years ago, and should beleaving, now that he has no chance of catching Paterno. 
 
The Florida State defense looked pathetic over the Spring drills, and were constantly punished by the offense.  The offense features a QB that is a "maybe" at best, and has a huge void to fill at WR.
 
It is hard to say how many more players will get suspended from this team for cheating, being arrested, or something else along the lines of stupidity, but you have to expect this from a Florida State team that is totally out of control.  They have a sure loss at Florida, a probable loss at UNC, and they do have the capability of losing every away game plus one at home.  This is a team with red flags surrounding it, and I will not be playing it very much in Vegas at all this year.  They are way too flaky, and are always a disappointment of late.  You are right,.  They can have anywheres between 1 to 6 losses this year.

yeah they will be a Wait and see team for me ... especially ATS...Should be able to tell after the First 4 games what's in store the rest of the way ...

But I do like the entire O-Line returning and the Defense should be very good again ...

That being said they could go anywhere from 6-6 to 10-2...

S caro O sucked last year too big time > managed 34 despite 4 TO's .....NC St D should be better.....BUT...LY's  D was ranked overall 85th... or so....not really an array of offensive powerhouses they faced either...
38 pts to BC....520 yds to USF....26 pts and almost 400 to suckass fla st......411 to duke ....almost 400 to EC....437 to rutgers (although RW out > STOPPING  rutgers was an option you know....(wilson not 2 way player)
personally not interested in s caro either.......1st couple of weeks focus on teams that return most starters (17 ish) + 3/5 OL + QB & coach ....if finished LY with momentum +++ (texas....s miss...minn....)
or opposite > maybe go against.....(ball st !!!.....kan st....n mex st..)

yeah Wilson is not a 2 way player but he did keep the chains moving and the Rutgers Offense on the Sidelines for much of the first half

I do like your thinking ... fading teams that don't return 3-5 OL -QB and Coach ..Fading NMST. Ball ST and others looks good ... At the same time backing teams that do ....

QB  Andy Dalton returns after Passing for 2,242  Yards 59.3 %  11 TD's and 5 Ints ... Rushing for 432 Yards and 8 TD's...
Backup Marcus Jackson is Moving to safety ///
RFR Yogi Gallegos will be the backup this year
 
RB  Aaron Brown is Goen but the Horned frogs have plenty of good backs in the fold
Ryan Christian is versatile catching 30 balls last year while rushing for 4.2 YPC ..386 Yards 4TD's
Joe Turner is a Brusier at 225lb+  577 Yards 11 TD's  has been limited in the Spring but should be 100% for the Season
Chris Smith 230lb+ is another brusier who adds great depth
 
WR    Jimmy Young is a Stud ..59-988  is amazing in this offense ... RB Christian was second with 30 catches
Jereny Kerley can also makes plays running the ball out of the "Wild Frog" Formation for 77 Yards on 9 carries vs BYU
Only 1 WR is gone from the 4 deep of last year
 
OL     Both All MWC OT's return including Monster Marcus Cannon 6-5  350+....Nic Richmond 6-8  320lb+ played alot last year as a backup and provides great depth...
Tons of Size and Talent on the 3 Deep ... once again this will be the Strength of the Offense
 
 
 
DL         Jerry Hughes was a finalist for the Nagurski and Hendricks awards  15 Sacks 6 Forced Fumbles and 19.5 TKFL...
while Hughes is the only returning starter on the D Line
Braylon Broughton is back after being MWC Fr. of the year in 2008...  huge boast by the return of Kelly Griffin who was the first Freshman(2007) to start under Patterson's tenure at TCU... 
 
 
LB   Daryl Washington  might be the best athlete on TCU...
they do lose the other 2 starters at LB
Tank Carder played some last year and should be ready for the Starting MLB role in 2009...
If Injuries Happen this unit could be in Big trouble

Everyting returns at CB ... both SR's  Rafael Priest and Nick Sanders have started every game for 3 years and make one of the best Duo's in CFB...
the '3' Safety spots will be sorted out but there is plenty of experience and Talent to go around
 
 
really could make a run at 12-0 this year...
But the 2 Road ACC games will not be Easy (at Clemson  at UVA)  ...Utah at Home and at BYU are the only games standing in the way of 12-0.... Love betting Team Total Unders on TCU Foes...

So you are telling me you have seen Joe Cox play enough to say he is horrible?  Yes Stafford had better arm strenth, but he was never a GREAT QB @ UGA either.  David Greene didn't have anywhere close to the arm strength that Stafford had and he was a far better QB and accomplished alot more than Stafford did.  You are sadly mistaken if you think the UGA offense needs a strong arm QB to be successful.  Stafford is prob. the only strong armed guy we have had since Richt has been there.  

We saw how SEC defense do against Big 12 offenses last year during bowl season didn't we?  Good luck betting Okie st.

What I Do Know is I Make A lot of money betting Football... And as Far as Evaluating Talent... I Do A Pretty Good Job of It.. Sorry if you feel Georgia will just run the SEC or even Run Through Oklahoma S.T...It's Just Not Gonna Happen. Don't Be Surprised if you guys see Logan Gray after a Couple of Games... Because He is The Best Talent you have at QB..

And BTW... I m A Sec Type of guy...But I Don't where a Blind Fold..
