That Texas spread will be a lot more than 26. It will probably be around 40...
cash - same to you, GL

I am down on the Tigers as a whole this season, but think they should be able to come away with the win against North Carolina in Atlanta. I agree with what Maine said I have less faith in that North Carolina QB than Jefferson. Don't think a ton of points are going to be scored here.
Good luck brother I will be taking it easy out the gates to start this season

BOL this season Nos, like your early picks. The only game that has me a little undecided is the Texas/Rice game. Rice returns a ton of experience on both sides of the ball and will have quality players at both QB(Fanuzzi Bama transfer or Cook Miami transfer) and RB(Sam McGuffie Michigan transfer). For some reason I see Rice hanging around a little bit, early in the game.
For UNC/LSU the key will be Special Teams IMO. And Russell Shepard will be more of a deciding factor than Jordan Jefferson. I follow LSU closely since they are my team and the offense will be run through Shepard. Billy Gonzales will move Shepard around a lot looking for mismatches similar to how he used Harvin at Florida. Both defenses will be stout and very fast.

But, do you honestly think the USC spread will only be 18. To confim, is that Southern Cal or South Carolina. You may want to clarify.
I thought the USC v. Hawai spread would be around 26...

i think it's safe to say you have a lot of work to do on your line projection skills... being off by 14 points before the lines come out is one thing... being off by 14 points after they come out? well... that is truly something else...

Good man, the Geo. and Okla. look good to me but that big play on Tx, Tech is worrisome. June Jones may have a little winning thing going with SMU this year.
I think the Tx. QB will be fine. Gilbert was the best of the best of the best Tx. high school QB's his senior year and that tells me he'll do fine. He's a coaches kid and the world of NCAA and pros is full of Tx. high school QB's. He'll be fine. If Landry and Okla. are better this year then fine but I'm a Tx. fan and I think we have a great shot to bet them some more. Gilbert is better.
Just a thought. Do Virginians like the Mullet?? Seems that Okies do. Love those QB's and linemen with mullet head.
GL, Doc

bball, fade - appreciate it, BOL
longhorn - yep that was So Cal at 18.5 and Texas 26 from bookmaker... hope you're right on the predictions of what lines should have been. GL
bustin - what's up BP, maybe once we get a couple weeks underway vegasbuster can make a couple consensus picks during the regular season, might want to consider OU before number climbs too much, looking forward to compare some notes during the season, BOL buddy
tree - appreciate it man, same on your capping and GL this year
wahoo - good to see you around again, have a feeling you're going to be back to normal solid year after getting no breaks last season as I recall, look forward to getting those early Sun night numbers with you again, BOL bro
bracks - agree, might even drop some change on MD ML with you, Navy not as strong as chalk over last few years 7-12 ATS and Terps may show some life after last year, look forward to your thoughts this year, GL
alexjr28 - think you're right on about Shepherd, had seen some similar comments on team info and spring game, would be good idea since offense looked clueless and no plan last year. Rice could hang for awhile if Gilbert is shaky, other than 35-13 a few years ago Owls not physical enough to hang most years...breaking in new QB gives them a better shot than some years maybe
USC 48 Hawaii 17 - expecting good effort from USC in this one assuming they still have any players left by September. Hawaii not as tough as DD home dog last year 0-3 ATS, could do some damage in passing game against young USC secondary on the few plays QB does not get killed by solid front 7, old man Kiffin should tight things up some. Trojans should be able to have balanced attack against unimpressive front 7 for Hawaii
Texas Tech 45 SMU 23 - impressive what Jones has done to improve SMU and defense improved as well, not a good matchup for them in the past year although with weaker teams. Not really seeing anything close to matching McNeal at RB, and some academic problems taking a toll with loss of WR Wilkerson, OL Leribeus (huge 363 G) and couple young DBs contending for time. Expecting TT to still throw the ball 60/40 and young OL (avg 6'5' 332) to not be bothered much by SMU DL and should give decent effort in opener for Tuberville

Nost. , Studying the Sun Belt and trying for a angle where it may be. Watching Baylor, SMU, Tcu, and the usual suspects north of the river. Looks like the Sun Belt is as advertised this year. Nothing special. I try and try to get a play on that conference and it can work a little but the players go to the schools and then just screw off. They don't really screw off. They MELT.

Wow Nos,not only were you one of the first in the pool this season but you jumped into the deep end with 13 picks.
I hope that week 1 sets the trend for another profitable year for you.
