2nd, you have A&M ranked #7 in the B12 but it took a 2 TD comeback in the final 6 minutes for the #3 SEC team to beat them on a neutral field..
3rd- if you line those teams up to face each other.. I would take the B12 in 6 of them.. OU, Baylor, Texas, A&M, ISU, Tech.. though I would move 6-6 A&M up and take them over SC as well, making the only advantage the SEC has would be LSU, UGA and Kentucky..
like we've been saying.. very strong at the top.. just awful after team 5.. and pretty weak at #4 and #5 as well..
there is no doubt that the SEC has had a down year overall, and even though I was a little surprised of the result of Miss States season ( thought they would have been better)Lets be honest... Vandy and Kentucky will always be Vandy and Kentucky... The gators gets a pass this year with new coaching staff... you yourself know that they won't be down long... Dooley was a mistake at Tennessee, and Houston Nutt was just awful. The SEC like every other conference is and always will be top heavy.
As far as out of conference scheduling.. I am having a difficult time in seeing many heavy hitters on the Big 12 schedules
Okie State- La Laff, Arizona, and Tulsa
Oklahoma- Tulsa, FSU and Ball State
A&M - SMU.Idaho and Arkansas
Mizzou - Miami Ohio, Ariz St and Western Illinois
Texas - Rice, BYU and UCLA
Baylor - TCU, Stephen F Austin and Rice
Tx Tech - texas State, New Mexico and Nevada
Kansas State- Eastern Kentucky, Kent State, Miami
Iowa State - Northern Iowa, Iowa, and Uconn
Kansas - Mcneese State, Northern Illinois, and Ga Tech
Please show me where their OOC schedule is so much stronger
