Yes, I am a Bama fan. Yes, I will be at game. Yes, I have played Bama a lot this year. No, I will not play Bama is I can win money on TX.
I have had a tough run during bowl season and laid off today waiting on games that I feel are better plays. LOVE Florida at -12.5 and have already played it rather heavy along with FSU +2.5. Put both of them in a teaser and think these are best plays left on the board. A few things I will let you know and any input will be welcomed.
- Bama has a "second" teamer who got into a little trouble that has not been in media....FACT. Should not affect game yet could if there is a "key" injury.
- Saban has this team focused yet seems like practice has been off this week. He held a "scrimmage" this week under the radar to try and avoid let down like he did last year.
-Saban hired the Pacific Institute to help deal with the mental side of the game 3 year sago. The major focus has been on helping the players deal with "success" this year after SECCG.
- TX will focus in Ingram like Auburn did. Will affect game. I see Ingram rushing for 100+ yet will carry ball 20+ times. Bama has won the time of possesion "game" this year. Texas is good against the rush and this will be difficult.
- Brown is playing the under dog role and liking it. Advantage TX. Saban is having to deal with this. TX has been here before Bama has not.
- Bama D will play TX like they did UF....keeping McCoy in the pocket and not rushing past him. Tebow only had one big run and Bama DBs covered the Rec. Look for the same.
- Special Teams...well, I think this could go either way.
Bottom line....I still see Bama winning but not covering the number at this point. NOT a play for me...yet. GL
