Us left coast guys saw this sooner than most........& his recruiting prowess is taking big hits, starting with the blowout losses to Utah last year. But hey, Miami got what they wanted I guess.
The transfer portal has changed things significantly, especially for opening weeks, & I seriously doubt most AP voters are gonna catch on to that any time soon.

“There are a lot of Pac12 teams that are undefeated at home. USC has the biggest road win so far at Utah. Someone will have to break serve on the road“ they lost that one.
Well, subtract that 1 play at the end...

TAMU should can him...There is too much talent in Texas for TAMU to be this mediocre...I guess the same could be said for my Longhorns...That loss on Saturday was reminiscent of the last 6 games of last season...BAMA, Tech, and now Ok State came back late in the 4th quarter...Is it indicative of a young team, or one coached by someone who does not know how to close out games??? I am not sold on Sark yet...

Fisher's contract was structured by a group of rich Texas boosters who are responsible for 90% of his salary, whether he remains employed or gets canned. Of course the university is saying, "sure whatever, if we're paying only a million, we're in."

The biggest thing I took from that game was OSU did a good job of making defensive adjustments in the 2nd half, but I'm still not sold on their defense. What lost the game for Texas was Ewers overthrowing wide open receivers at least a half a dozen times that could have gone for big yardage or TD's. A redshirt freshman's inexperience on the road is mostly what cost Texas the game.
