Who isnat AS GOOD, and who isnt AS BAD as they looked in week one?

I watched a lot of football, but obviously didnt get to see them all.


I dont think UNC is as bad (SC just that good)

I dont think Ole Miss is as good (Vandy D very suspect...and vice versa for that matter)....



Thoughts?

Wisconsin looked much better than they are, IMO.  I am chomping at the bit to fade them in their first decent game against a solid team.

Georgia is a good team. Gurley is the best looking back I have seen in 10 years.... Clemson is/was just better.

Georgia beats S.C this week.........mark it down

Agree with you on N.C., but respectfully disagree with u on Ole Piss. I watched the ULL vs Arkansas game and I don't think ULL is as bad as the final score suggests.

I haven't seen any tape on Nebraska/Wyoming but the Huskers had a fight with the Cowboys.

Very disappointed with BYU's effort against Virginia especially with Texas on deck.  The Horns may just beat the dog out of the Cougars.

Wow. I didn't watch the game, but looked like ULL was not as good as advertised.  Why do you think they are better?

Right about Georgia.....wrong about Gurley. Adrian Peterson is the best looking back anybody has seen in the past 10 years.

Georgia losing their #1 receiver for the season could put a damper on their national title hopes, not to mention started season 0-1.

USC and Michigan are as good as their victories and Utah State and Washington State arent that bad. And, UCLA is going to be tough to beat this season. Ill be on them a lot this year.

USC did look like crap because Hawaii is awful...LOL

Somebody mentioned Vandy....I thought they looked good in that lose.

Also i was impressed with Northwestern...Cal is nothing special....But i think N.W. will give Ohio st a game...When they play.

Wyoming is for real and their QB is a baller.  That Nebraska line of minus four TDs was an absolute LAUGHER and shows you how sloppy the books are on teams they know no one cares about.  I have be cleaning up on Cowboys games for almost a decade now.  Looks like the streak will continue...

I think Ole Miss is going to be fine.  Vandy's been a top-20 team for two yeasrs, but they get hidden by that meat-grinder of a conference. 

I suspect Temple is not as "good" as it looked in the controlled scrimmage ND ran against them.

Texas is nothing special. 

Air Force's win over Colgate is more impressive than it looks.

I think Wyoming's pretty good.

I thought Georgia and Clemson played their guts out in that game.  Home field advantage won out....maybe... but both teams are going to have nice seasons.

Georgia needs a healthy Gurley against South Carolina.  Not sure how serious of an injury he had.  Anyone heard?

We had 4 top 25 teams lose this weekend.

# 5.....Georgia
# 19....Boise St
# 20.....TCU
# 25.....Oregon St.

Of course Georgia will get a reprieve losing on the road to a solid # 8 Clemson team.....They will stay in the top 15...I would think.

But Boise,TCU and Oregon St will be out of the top 25 with there losses.

The next 3 big vote getters outside the top 25 are....

Miami.....Baylor.....Michigan St.

I`ll check the polls tomorrow

Wyoming plays Idaho next week.  I play about 80% of my handle on invisible Western teams, including halftimes and quarter lines.

Wyoming is my play of the week next week.

They will clean Idaho's clock by four touchdowns AT A MINIMUM.  No way the line gets set at -28, maybe more like -14.5.  Get ready to unload on this one.

ULL moved the ball on Arkansas with ease, but would shoot themselves in the foot when they move into Arkansas territory. A few dropped passes, tipped passes leading to picks, fumble.Their offense is still potent,but their defense has always been suspect.
