mc neese st. - theyre not that good thats just how bad USF is

Minnesota - ST miscues by UNLV led to that blowout

Iowa - yes they lost to niu but niu is a force and iowa had the chance to win it, they also gained over 400 yards of total offense. they should be a pretty good bet at home this year.

Take out Miami. Replace them with Washington. Washington will probably be between 15-20.

Train,  Hate to judge to much on the first week.  I heard from close friends the N. Tx. game against Idaho was a give up on both sides.  Idaho couldn't compete and N. Tx. walked through it. Idaho might be worse than advertised.

What about @Lou Tech this week?  They may be off this year and now they get Lamar .   La. Tech is only giving -14 pts. to Lamar?

Have you heard of La. Tech? They drew Lamar this week.  Just a 14 pt. spread.   Love your thoughts on this game if you can find the time.   I know your very busy being a smart behind but would like your thoughts? Smart behind thoughts welcome.  I'm not kidding, do you think Lamar can cover +14?

In my opinion, Washington isn't as good as some may think after they clobbered Boise on Saturday. Don't get me wrong, Washington will beat a lot of pac12 teams this year, but I don't see them beating the Oregon's or Stanford's, or Ucla either.

This is a great thread. The Rice A&M game went about as expected but Rice will be tough this year and there should be value in them. Fade USC, will be overvalued especially since they are such a public team.

I think Boise St. has fallen off.  I saw them start to lose it last year, and them getting blown out by Washington confirmed what I already suspected.   They have lost their mojo.  No way they should have even been ranked in my opinion.

I was thinking Washington myself....I saw they had about 6 teams in front of them...They looked good against Boise

This one's low hanging fruit but Alabama is better than they looked. Their O was awful.

Hammer it. This is a 52-17 type game. And I only say 52 for Wyoming as I am being considerate of Idaho's feelings.  Idaho's defense is all JUCO transfers and under a new scheme from a new coach.  Brett Smith, Wyoming's QB, is one of the top five in the nation....yeah, I said that, and he will rip Iadho to pieces.  Get on it early before it climbs.

My side of the week was North Texas -16.5 over Idaho.

Total of the week was Over in Wyoming/Nebraska.

Wyoming plays Idaho next week.  The football gods are great!

Four of five bets I make in college for the past decade are all on small schools out West and down South with little to no visibility.  Teams like SD St., North Texas, Rice, Wyoming, New Mexico, etc.  These games see a fraction of a percent in any week's total college handle at the books so the lines they throw out there are SLOPPY. 

When I saw N.texas at a mere -16.5, I thought that was a First Half line. When I realized it was a full-game line, I about broke my fingertips pounding in my bets on the computer.

And the. I see Brett Smith and the Cowboys getting an unbelievable FOUR TDs against an always over-rated and very public Huskers side and I needed to call Tony Saragusa up for some Depends I nearly wetted myself.

Yes, I will be throwing the house on Wyoming. Seeing them lose in a close, somewhat heartbreaking fashion last night only gives next week more power. They will be ANGRY and OUT FOR REVENGE.  Idaho gave up last week when they went down a few TDs and they knew the game was out of reach.  Imagine what will happen when Wyoming puts three TDs on them in a blink of an eye.

UMass is atrocious and would get smoked by a lot of those FCS teams.

Wisconsin's offense was slow and plodding and predictable. They broke big runs because their O-line weighed 100 pounds more per guy than UMass' D-Line.

Any team with the size to match will plug Wisconsin up. If they have speed as well, Wisconsin is in trouble.

Haven't seen the game yet but I'd say Oregon St. isn't as bad as they looked.  Typical for them to stumble out of the gate.  

USC didn't look good because they aren't.  Kiffin is gone after this year.

Boise St. has some issues. Minnesota may cash nicely as big 10 dogs.
