Florida is doing what they did last year.  As long as the D is shutting down the other team, they will play conservative on offense.  Just like last year, when the QB play is needed to win, they got it.  Now I will say I would not be betting the house on any double digit chalk with them this year.  However, the -3 against Miami this year is a great bargain.  The QB does not make mistakes, one of his fumbles yesterday was completely on the tackle, there is not feeling what happened on that play.  The other one he could have avoided.  Overall it's a very strong team that will be tough to beat.

Kansas St - not that bad.  NDSU would beat a lot of FBS teams.  

Southern Miss - not that bad.  They had 5 or 6 fumbles (not saying they are good as they couldn't run the ball, but the passing game was good and the defense was OK)

UNLV  - not that bad.  Outplayed Minny much of the game, but gave up 3 TDs on returns

They will be ANGRY and OUT FOR REVENGE.  Idaho gave up last week when they went down a few TDs and they knew the game was out of reach.  Imagine what will happen when Wyoming puts three TDs on them in a blink of an eye.

I think I need some depends after reading this......

The teams that got beat by fcs schools might not as be as bad as they will get credit for, first games of course you can make first game mistakes but motivation wise it's a huge game for the fcs team and have probably been looking forward to it all off season and might be hard for the bigger school to get up for. Seems like usually the big school covers the next game. Virginia Tech is one example, they got beat by James Maddison and wound up winning the ACC! Seems like it might of taken them an extra week to get their act together As I know they lost their first two games

afraid K ST. may have dropped off alot from last year,Miss and Vandy never quit,i like that aspect.Bama will play better each game as the season goes on,No. car. did not quit,Tx A&M looked like they are ready to play some more.Louisiana Laf. looked intimidated in fayetteville and I had them +10.5. great thread.....

They dropped off a lot, because they were top 10 last year.  I put them this year between 40 and 55th.

I do agree that the Florida offense presents a wagering issue some days because it seems like the lines makers have never adjusted for the lower scoring offense.  That makes betting the dog a great option, but for me I just cannot pull that trigger very often lol

As for this Saturday, I am anticipating an easy Florida win and cover.

A sneaky one. I was impressed with Syracuse. Got lucky with Penn St -5.5 and Cuse run game was good and the D very stingy against a well coached and balanced offense. So ATS they may not suck as bad as I thought. keep in mind when catching big points

Colorado actually looked pretty good and their QB impressed at times 
They need work on special teams coverage but
They have a few nice players at the skill positions
Night and day compared to last year
I think they may surprise a pac12 team or 2

Purdue is a joke.  They are every bit as bad as they showed in that 42-7 shellacking against (what looked to me like) a mediocre Cincinnati.  Purdue had at least 6 broken plays on offense, several of them resulted in a fumble.  Cant get much done doing that.  They just aren't ready. 

 

I think Notre Dame looked like they quit, or after Temple adjusted it was basically an even battle.  Ill be on Michigan this weekend.

 

Ohio U looked god-awful on defense and their qb Tettleton is absurdly overrated.  Not sure what happened to that team.  I don't think Louisville is as good as they showed.

I also think Ohio st is vulnerable.  Buffalo showed some balls for sure though.  Urban Meyer went up 16-0 (with 2 2pt conversions) immediately.  Very surprised the buckeyes let Buffalo score get back in that game.  Not sure if Buffalo is better than they showed, but no way Ohio st should be #2.

SMU and Garret Gilbert as QB very underwhelming

Johnny fricken Football hasn't missed a beat, but what does A&M have up their sleeve for the REMATCH of the Year Don't think they know how pissed Tide really is. Johnny been waiting for this one all off seaon

North Texas coach McCarthy is very good and Mean Green will be much better than last year

Ole Miss isn't good?

Lol went on the road and best a very very good Vanderbilt team. Vandy is underrated and has one of the best coaches in college football James Franklin.

To say Ole Miss didn't look good and impress is bogus. They are the sleeper in the SEC West mark this post.

3-0 headed into Tuscaloosa and I'm betting the house on Hugh Freeze and the Rebels.

I 100% disagree about S.C. They are not that good. Connor Shaw exposed our terrible secondary who was one of the worst in football last year, but S.C. has been living their hype about their defense. If you watched the game then UNC made the point to the world that Clowney is no where as good as advertised. He had to keep coming out of the game due to being winded and was a non factor. The heels could have made a game out of it except for absolutely awful play calling. Whoever has the idea to make Bryn Renner a running QB is an idiot especially when you are driving down S.C throats and then you waste a down with Renner running. S.C defense is no where nearly as good as advertised and I agree 100% with boom that Georgia beats S.C. The Heels aren't as bad as they played, but this could be a repeat of last season especially is something doesn't change with the secondary.

Utah St. lost to the Utes but they dominated 1st half, lot of stupid penalties. The Utes got away with a huge onside kick as well. Very emotional game but I like Utah St.'s talent with a lot of returning players from last year.

 

FSU - enough said, I'll be riding that train until vegas gives them credit.

 

Alabama - Didn't like anything about their offense, I don't see them covering many spreads this year.

 

Wisconsin - Still look like a solid team without Ball

 

Louisville - They're the real deal, firing on all cylinders

 

USC - Solid Defense but major problems at QB

 

Colorado St. - Didn't look impressive, a lot of punt/kick returns...not much offense other than that. Defense let up a lot in a rival match.
