Boom, SI does not hang a line, nor does " Vegas " have a
CFB line posted at this time.
5 Dimes is the only line currently posted that is available
for wagering.
Hope that clarifies my point.

I'm sure you can see the line move on a $ 50.00 bet.
It's interesting to see early action and then guys kick themselves
because they could have gotten a better price when they post lines
in August.

Loeffler ( VaTech)is the worse off coordinator Ive seen in a long time.I couldnt believe Beamer hired him.Bama will score more points than VaTech does by midway thru 1st Qtr..This game will be an absolute massacre and Bama will be covering by halftime.Yall have it on Clemson vs Georgia..it will be one of those games that come down to the wire.If I had to bet it..less than 3 Clemson.3 or more I would take the Dawgs..they got the better Qb and Rb s..coaching Id give to Ga strictly bc of experience..I hear Gameday will be at Death Valley.Boom,thats gonna be a heck of a game.I think there will be a lot of scoring.

I think it'll be high scoring as well. Think I'd rather take the over
in this one rather than the side.

thought it was $120/100 max ... I only made one bet so far 60/50 Florida St -8.5....   I am not seeing 20 max , unless maybe thats for new accounts ???   if so that is pathetic

Lulu...love you avatar..Teo might be the most overrated player in the history of CFB.I told my sportswriter buddy Scarbinsky "Teo isnt in the same stratosphere as Clowney"He responded but Teo is well spoken.WTF does that have to do with anything.I wont dispute the fact that he was a good player,but 2nd best in the country.U can bet if the Heisman race is close between an SEC guy or a Big 10 or NotreDame guy the Big 10 or NotreDame guy always win.Its so political..see 1997 Heisman..BTW,I still think Nebraska beat Mich by 2 touchdowns if they played.

Murray has played well, but for one mistake at the end of the Bama
game last year, they could have had the opportunity to beat Notre
Dame.
Taj Boyd is not the best QB if you measure by QBR.but this game
will be won or lost on the defensive side of the ball.I'm not sure
either defense can stop the opponents offense.

Alabama should be able to pretty much name the score against Virginia Tech, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll cover 24.  If Saban calls off the dogs in the 2nd half, the Hokies could conceivably get a backdoor cover here.  There just isn't a whole lot of value on either side at 24.

I may, however, be interested in the total or the 1st half line.  Although I doubt we'll see the 1st half line dip below 2 TDs, if it does I'll bet as much as possibly I can.

As far as the Georgia/Clemson game is concerned, there are 3 things you can pretty much bank on with a Marc Richt coached team.  The first is that the team will be completely unprepared for the 1st game of the season.  The second is that Georgia will commit at least three retarded personal foul penalties, and the third is that their defense will be as soft as a baby's azz.  In other words, bet the OVER . . . LARGE.

Hey Jimmy, Matchup wise , I completely agree that Bama can
name the score. For me, two things concern me as the price
gets to 4 TD's.

1. Playing at a neutral site,( although this was not a factor vs Mich.).

2.Will the team some out the gate as highly motivated as they as
   they were last year.My hope is that Nick will not let them get
   complacent .

I'm not saying that Bama will not cover , it's that there may be
better values on the board when lines come that may cause me
to pass on this one. Good to hear from you Jimmy , I'm looking
forward to August. Let's get em this year.

I agree, I see both defenses struggling in this one.

Jimmy, I have a rule that if a team loses a QB , 3 rated O linemen,
or 3 rated DB's I will not play that team in week 1.That rule also
applies to teams with a Head Coaching change as under those
circumstances I cannot effectively determine the correct values
that I use to determine pointspread.
In this game Bama loses 3 very highly rated O linemen , which
will cause me to pass on this one.
